Solar energy is used to heat the apartment and comforts include a flat-screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen is the ideal place to prepare home-cooked meals. Guests will find many restaurants serving German specialities and international dishes are within a 5-minute walk of Parahotel. Winter sport enthusiasts will find the world famous Garmisch Classic ski resort (1 km) is great for skiing and snowboarding. Free on-site parking is provided by Parahotel. Garmisch-Partenkirchen Train Station is also only a 10-minute walk away. Everything about Parahotel!! Not a single fault that I can point out. We stayed for 5 days in April 2013. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, induction stove, microwave, electric kettle, condiments and basic spices. There is even cooking oil provided. A decent- sized refrigerator is also available. The kitchen also comes with a dishwasher. Both rooms are spacious, overlooking great mountain scenery. The living room area is great for a couple of friends or the entire family to hang out at. The bathroom is kept clean with sufficient towels for everyone and comes with a hairdryer too. Upon arrival, you will be given a Visitor's Card by Andrea ( wonderful lady ) where you can travel on all green buses in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for free. Such a great bargain for a wonderful accommodation. If you intend to be there in summer, please take note it does not come with an a/C. No indication of the apartment's name, "Parahotel" at all. It looked exactly like somebody's house, so you may pass the location unknowingly.

We loved the Parahotel. Brand new. Two bedrooms with large living space, and small, but adequate kitchen. Free parking on site. Within walking distance to town, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants. Beautiful rural setting! (You can hear cow bells!) Mountain views. Lots of options for sight seeing nearby (castles, etc.) Munich is about 1 1/2 hrs. away by train (great day trip). The hosts were extremely helpful -- both while we were in Garmisch, but also before we arrived. They quickly responded to all e-mails. They live on-site and provided maps and suggestions. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Beautifully furnished. Very reasonably priced.

Super gemütliche und sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung in guter Lage. Super freundliche Vermieter, die auch bei An- und Abreise sehr flexibel udn freundlich waren. Wir waren rundum zufrieden!

L'appartamento era veramente spazioso, luminoso e soprattutto c'erano due camere da letto. Inoltre la cucina, sebbene fosse piccolina, era dotata di tutto il necessario quanto a elettrodomestici. Poche pentole :(

Очень милая и отзывчивая хозяйка Andrea, все рассказала, показала, вручила туристический ваучер (дающий право на бесплатный проезд в общественном транспорте). Аппартаменты чистые, современные и полностью укомплектованые посудой и техникой. Из минусов могу отметить только то, что не было стиральной машины и морозильной камеры (был небольшой холодильник). Для нас было актуально т.к. были с маленьким ребенком (2года), но не критично! Если собираетесь кататься на лыжах/сноуборде и не имеете машины, то нужно иметь ввиду, что до ближайшей остановки ski bus нужно идти минут 15, до ж/д станции (откуда отправляется поезд на все зоны катания включая Цугшпитце) 20-25 минут. Учитывая каллорийность баварской кухни это обстоятельство тоже можно рассмотреть как + т.к. позволяет после отпуска сохранить физическую форму и не набрать лишних килограммов :-)
