The room we stayed in was on the 33rd floor and the view was amazing, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious and had a massive selection
The room was a little small but we didn't spend much time in it so it was ok.
Hotel was located next to Alexanderplatz station so was easy to get around. The bar was nice for food and the room very clean.
As two friends sharing a room we were not keen on the shower/toilet set up which basically just had a curtain for privacy as the shower and toilet are had glass walls. The hotel was also very busy because of a conference and it would take 5-10mins queueing to speak to reception.
Got a free up grade to a room on the 35th floor
all day long there was a queue at the reception. When entering the hotel you had the impression of an airport because of that.
Location was great, rooms were clean and with great view
The time for paid wi-fi is gone. Bathroom in the room were with glass doors, it was little bit disturbing
The location close to the center of town and to the underground
Only 4-stars hotel where: - you wait 20 minutes in a line to check-in -wi-fi is not free and expensive -shower is inside the room -towels are good for the seven dwarfs - to visit the terrace and enjoy the advertised view one must pay 3 €
I liked the central location
I didn't like the attitude and unfriendly nature of the staff. Nor did I like being walked in on by the cleaner whilst in my underwear. It would help if they knocked and waited for a response as opposed to knocking as the open the door.
Very thin, small poor quality towels. Only one pillow per person (again very thin and cheap)
My first visit to Berlin and I would like to return to Park Inn, I thought the location was great was disappointed I never got to see the view from the 35th Floor, closed for maintenance until 3pm but will make sure next visit. Room was comfortable we were on the 15th floor. Breakfast was fine plenty of choice.
The shower gel was not replemished, bath/shower was a bit high to get in and out (but of course I am small. ) next visit I would ask for a room with a walk -in shower. There was a smell in the corridor on the 15th floor like a bad drain smell at the lifts.
Excellent localisation. Fantastic view on the city center through the window. Excellent receptionist (during check-in) - female PRAKTIKANT. Breakfast - tastefull food.
Audio and video box as the toilette inside the room. Incredible hot in the room - no possibility to have an individual temperature. No facilities for making coffee and tea .
Location Access to U/SBahn Local shopping
Very busy, Less time spent on individual guests Price of Breakfast Some unhappy Staff and it showed
Getting woken up by housekeeping to clean our room at 8am each day. Housekeeping knocking quietly the. Walking straight in to find us both naked! Extortionate breakfast price!
- at 8.00h someone opened my door without knocking while I was sleeping. - at 9.00h they changed the doorlocks, making lots of noice - toilet was not completely clean - internet didn't work at some point while you pay for it
Probably the slowest working staff I ever experienced. It took over 30 minutes too check in and alsmost as much to check out.
Location is okay
I was forced to pay so called city tax. The information about city tax was not highlighted by Booking.com or the hotel Expensive wifi and breakfast
Good location and facilities.
Wi-Fi is very expensive They changed the lock on my door from a swipe card to a another lock on my last day. When I got to my room it was insecure and my luggage and other items were left vulnerable to theft. Long queues on check-in
Lovely central modern hotel . really good breakfast and room was very comfortable
The reception desk was always busy with long lines.
Perfectly placed hotel w.r.t. any form of transport, also within reasonable walking distance from everything in Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg. Hotel was as expected; a nice, clean and typical chain-hotel. Polite and friendly staff.
Good view. Good location.
Fuse blew in my room, took quite a while for someone to come to fix it. Reception rather rude & abrupt to people. Rooms are a little small for the price. I'm all for efficiency - but learn to relax a little. Do not wake people at 8am!!! Wait much longer before entering a room and listen for their reply!!!!
No better location, very high quality.
Room service came into my room at 0600 in the morning and woke me up while I was sleeping.
The hotel is in an excellent central location with regard to transportation, shops, restaurants and visitor attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful but seem to be under pressure because of the high constant throughput of guests.
Booking.com should seriously review this hotel in terms of value for money. I visited Berlin for two days to participate in the Berlin Wall celebrations. My room (on the 28th floor) was tiny. It had 1 pillow, no bedside lamp, no bedside light switches and no fridge. The buffet breakfast has a wide and high quality selection but at €19 is still a bit stiff. Many people (like myself) do not require an extensive breakfast but there does not appear to be an option for someone just needing a simple continental breakfast. In addition to all that, there are endless queues for check-in and check-out. Definitely will not be back.
The location is the biggest advantage... and the only one, unfortunately. But all the disadvantages are caused by the size of the hotel and the building it's located in.
Size of the hotel. Brakfast. Atmosphere. You cannot get the things managed by the staff cause it's simply too huge. Size of the room and the bathroom being a part of the room as if it were an air-port hotel not a 4* hotel ina middle of a town. Relation money to value.
Excellent location, comfortable and clean rooms with good beds. Nice hotel bar.
Female reception staff was not at all service-minded. I mean: although they may be busy typing on their keyboard when a guest contacts them, they could at least acknowledge the presence of the guest by saying "one moment, please" instead of keeping on typing and ignoring the guest. Obviously, none of them knows how to smile. Also, when I wanted to prebook a taxi (for 6 persons) they just told me to go out and find a taxi on the street in front of the hotel.
Price location Cleanliness
Strange Bathroom but clean Wifi not free
Good view Good breakfast Good value for money It's close to the station Compact room
It's a mega sized hotel, so reception can be very busy at times It's close to the station, so at night it can draw in a lot of waifs and strays to the area. Old keycard system gets wiped by your mobile phone - bit of a faff when you are so high up!
