Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Super breakfast.

I should have made a little more effort to check the heating out in the room as just slightly colder than like.

The hotel is very nicely located, just in the city park, facing the two main architectural attractions of Cloppenburg - the Bürgermeister house and the Court building. The floors and rooms have new nice carpets, the ceilings are high, windows big and our bathroom was newly fitted (room 101). The breakfast was rather good, and it was especially pleasant to have it outside, basically in the city park itself. The hotel is close to the main shopping street and the town center, but is in a clam spot. The small aquapark and the open-air coutryside museum are very close - really conventient for those visiting these attractions. In August the hotel was exclusively occupied by senior guests.

We were especially disappointed that the hotel does not have a restaurant. In August, when many restaurants in the town are closed for vacations, it was not easy to find a place for lunch. For dinner we found an excellent restarant - Margaux - with a very nice atmosphere in the summer garden (a pond with golden fish includedl). Breakfast was Ok, but not for a four-star hotel: for example, no bakery or dessert was there! The service at the breakfast was however very good, the napkins were fresh and luxurious, the coffee service was of high quality. It was really nice. The furniture in the room was really old, although not totally worn yet. Some pieces survived from the seventies, such as the old-style radio integrated into the bed table. No air conditioning (we were there on a very hot day). In the bathroom only liquid soap and body/hair shampoo (good quality), but no body lotion or hand lotion or any extras. Overall, the main components making it a four-star hotel are the location and the breakfast tablewear. Otherwise it is a three-star hotel.

The only item would be the lack of wireless service. You can subscribe to this service, but at additional cost. It seems that this would be an excellent service to offer to your guests.

Die Atmosphäre, das nette Personal, das große Zimmer, das große Badezimmer. Alles sehr schön und sauber. Die netten Aufmerksamkeiten bei der Ankunft - Obst, Wasser, Pralinen und sogar ein kleiner Blumengruß auf dem Tisch. Hab ich sonst noch nirgends erlebt. Weiter kann man sich an der Rezeption das passende Kopfkissen aussuchen. Das ist eine ganz tolle Sache. Frühstück super. Auch da wieder sehr liebevoll hergerichtet.

Der vorhandene Fernseher ist sehr klein. Vom Bett aus fernzusehen ist fast nicht möglich.

Freundlichkeit und Frühstück

- ein relativ großes Zimmer - sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet - keine Parkgebühren - man kann sich ein Kissen ander Rezeption holen, was den eigenen Bedürfnissen entspricht! Hab ich sonst noch nie gesehen!

zwar ein Flachbildschirm-Fernseher aber nur 19 Zoll ist schon ziemlich mager

wenn man so wie wir nach 8.00 Uhr zum Frühstück geht, ist das Buffet doch sehr übersichtlich und man sollte viel Zeit mitbringen , da sehr schleppend oder auch nicht nachgelegt wird

Ved ankomsten - og alle øvrige henvendelser iskold, uengageret, kiggede lige igennem os - ville give ham et kursus I god opførsel og venlig kundebetrjening - en skændsel for det I øvrigt gode hotel, som vi har besøgt 4 år I træk - de andre år har været fine, men den glatragede, ældre mand I receptionen ønsker vi ikke at se næste år, hvor vi igen besøge vore gode venner I Velp, medmindre han har lært imødekommende opførsel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lugnt område. Nära till centrum. Lagom stor stadskärna. Utmärkt frukost.

het is op zaterdagavond ongelooflijk lawaaierig vanwege de activiteiten tot vier uur s nachts van de overkant. ook knalt er over de hele avond luide muziek vanaf waarschijnlijk het casino...is dit altijd zo of toevalllig?

Das Parkhotel ist ideal zum Entspannen. Die Atmosphäre im Haus ist sehr wohltuend, das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Viele Details sind liebevoll gestaltet, man spürt, dass das Management bemüht ist, dem Gast den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Zeer excellent en uitstekend verzorgd ontbijt met veel keuze van vis, vlees, kaas, broodsoorten, .... Jammer dat wifi betaalbaar is wanneer dit al voor goedkopere hotels dikwijls inbegrepen is.
