Die absolute Ruhe dort! Wlan hat auch funktioniert, war manchmal ein bisschen langsam. Der absolute Hit beim Frühstück waren frische Palatschinken oder Pfannkuchen. Findet man wirklich selten! Unser Appartement war im 2. Stock-ohne Lift! Für Senioren stellt das sicher ein absolutes No-Go dar, denn den Koffer zwei Stockwerke hochschleppen ist nicht ohne...

Die Ruhe. Entspannung pur. Das reichhaltige Frühstück mit frischem Obst und sehr viel Auswahl. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Der romantische Garten mit Liege- und Sitzplätzen. Die Größe der Appartements. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Die Ausstattung der Küche: Geschirrspülmaschine läuft nur mit Tricks, der Herd funktioniert kaum, nur ein Kaffeelöffel, keine Pfanne. Teilweise die Sauberkeit: die Couch sieht schon sehr verwohnt aus(Flecken, Schmutz), die Verschlüsse der Thermoskannen im Frühstücksraum, Eisfach im Kühlschrank, Sitzpolster dreckig und aufgerissen.

Da wir gern Wochenendreisen zum Wandern nutzen und auch unsere Bordercollies mitnehmen wollen, kommt uns dieses Hotel sehr entgegen. Auch unsere Kinder waren mit unserer Enkelin ( 1 Jahr alt) dort und empfanden es als empfehlenswert. Es herrscht eine familiäre Athmosphäre, läuft in Ruhe ab und ist sehr individuell. Auch das Essen ist lecker. Im Umkreis gibt es tolle Wanderwege. Wir lieben die an den Stauseen besonders. Um hier etwas formulieren zu können, müsste ich zu lange nachdenken. Uns hat alles gefallen.

Rustig familiehotel met 18 kamers die netjes zijn ingericht. Goed ontbijt, goede keuken. Half pension geboekt met keuzemenu uit drie (en soms vier) hoofdgerechten. Aan te bevelen! Geen lift. Uitzicht valt wat tegen. Bad Grund ligt niet zo centraal in de Harz, maar aan de westkant. Van daaruit is de Harz echter goed te doorkruisen. Iets wat niets met het hotel te maken heeft maar ik toch even kwijt wil, is het smalspoorbaantje waarvoor nogal reclame wordt gemaakt. Je kunt een ritje maken naar de hoogste berg in de Harz (ca 1100m) (half uurtje heen, half uurtje terug). Kosten € 33,- p.p. (net zoveel als een dagkaart voor de Efteling). Daar komt nog bij € 5,- parkeren.

Ruhige Lage, aber Restaurants im Ort sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr nettes Personal,schönes Frühstück. Sauberes Zimmer Wir werden das Hotel bestimmt wieder buchen,wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

What do I look for when booking anywhere?......I Like free parking, a decent car park, breakfast price included, and no hidden charges. With this hotel your pet can go for free!!!! A separate door to the bedroom is always good and although the hotel was fairly full it was peacefully located and we slept well. We chose to eat in the hotel on the Friday evening of our stay and that is when they do a 'buffet meal'. That was great in that it was 3 course, very tasty and they assisted with the cutting of your meat. It was a nice atmosphere and came in at just under €15 pp. Nothing major to report; only slightly dated decor within appartment and it needed mugs (not small cups). Bad Grund is small and probably much better 'in season'.
