Das Gebäude ist sehr gut erhalten und gepflegt, absolute Ruhe. Wer den Harz noch nicht kennt, sollte vielleicht daraufhingewiesen werden, wie verlassen und einsam das Hotel liegt. Mit dem Auto natürlich kein Problem. Das Servicepersonal wirkte nicht besonders freundlich, es wurde nur das "Nötigste" gesprochen". Das Frühstück sollte in einem solchen Haus aber ausreichend sein, nur wer hier etwas später kommt hat das Nachsehen. Butter wurde auf Nachfrage nachgeliefert, alles Andere jedoch - wenn weg dann weg. Also besser ein Survialpaket dabei haben, denn in der näheren Umgebung gibt es nichts. Das ist halt die typische ostdeutsche Sparsamkeit. Habe das in Meck-Pomm. Auch erlebt. Vorerst unser letzter Besuch in den "neuen" Ländern, man will es einfach nicht!
