Good: Hotel accepted to cancel sunday breakfast, which was done on beforehand. The reason for our cancellation was that our tourist bus started at 08.30 am and on sundays breakfast starts not until at 8.00 am. On the other hand it should be not nice not to accept the cancellation, because we got to know breakfast times not until when checking in to the hotel. At least breakfast time tables were not easily seen on hotel sites in internet. Bad: We wished to have non-smoking room. We got the room 313, where we could smell easily the smell of tobacco. The room was not smoking room but someone had smoked there recently.

I specifically chose this hotel for its location. I was travelling on my own and appreciated the calm neighborhood, always felt safe. The hotel is very well connected to the airport, railway stations and main attractions by public transportation. At a good pace it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Centre. Staff was professional, room was clean. Good value for money. The hotel looks a little anonymous. Based on previous reviews, I was aware of the 12 eur charge for breakfast and decided not to go for it. You can have breakfast outside the hotel for much less. Also, in the Internet age I refused to pay the charge for Wi-fi and used my smartphone at a nearby café, where besides enjoying an excellent coffee I could also connect for free.

Simple, reasonably priced, straightforward logding This hotel is basically a series of private hostel-style rooms. The room was much smaller than pictures suggest and therefore somewhat uncomfortable. The location was also somewhat of a disappointment. It is immediately next to the train station, which is a bonus, but is outside of the city center and on the other side of the canals, requiring a 20+ minute walk to any points of interest or eateries.

Very good location: quiet residential area, near metro station Lehel and 15 minutes walk to the city center (Marienplatz). No design at all, uncomfortable beds, very bad pillows

Excellent price/quality rate. Very friendly personnel. We arrived 3 hours before check in but it was no problem to offer us a room immediately. Good location. 2 min to Englisher garten and 10 min to central square by foot. The best choice for sity trip!

Quality hotel in a good location. Welcoming and efficient staff. Good value for the room and breakfast. Would recommend and stay again. No evening meal facilities, and quite a distance to restaurants. Not a big deal as we felf quite at ease walking to city centre from this hotel.

Lovely quiet location in central Munich. Just a short walk from the tram and underground (U-bahn) stops. Clean room, well equipped. Didn't go for the breakfast option - at 12 euros each, way too expensive. There's a lovely little supermarket round the corner and a bakery where you can pick up breakfast for all of you for a fraction of the price

Great location in a quiet area of the city. Most of the main hotels are around the main railway station and the area looks very sleezy even by day. This hotel is at the other side of the city in a quiet residential area close to the u- bahn station. There is a small shop and bakery around the corner from the hotel so unless you really want to eat breakfast at the hotel at extra cost give it a miss and use tha local shops for breakfast. On the first morning the hotel was full, the breakfast area was small and had to stand in reception area to eat breakfast as no seats where available.

The furniture is made of real wood, everthing is well kept and clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area with a very nice Vietnamese restaurant next door. A lot of small grocery stores are nearby and the city center is a 10 mins walk away. So if you don't need any luxury, just a quiet and clean room, then it's a perfect choice.

Nice furniture, made out of real wood, nice rooms, good to work in, quiet even at October festival time Breakfast: you shouldn't be in a hurry if you want breakfast at 6:30; not everything's ready then.

The very competitive price was a definite plus factor, in a city where hotel accomodation can get rather expensive.A Deserving mention should also be given to the lovely Ms Anita Zaffran- the head receptionist and her team of girls who with their kind, considerate and attentive ways added considerably to the simple, homespun charm of this hotel. The 15-20 minute walk to Marienplatz.Closer proximity to the magical square would have been a major trumpcard in the hotel's favour.

The location of the hotel was great. Two blocks from the U-Bahn station and two blocks from the English Garden. The beds were extremely comfortable and the noise was minimal considering it is a residential area. It was very hot when we visited so having no air conditioning was difficult although the hotel is not responsible for the weather.

Actually nothing but location, 15 minutes walk to the Marienplatz, 10 to hb! Internet for 8 euro per hour!!! Staff was not friendly and helpful at all. We waited cheek in for 30 minutes, girl who came didn't even apologize, even there were 2 more visitors waiting. She decided to clean up lobby bar instead. One day there was some guy in pink bathrobe sitting on the reception doing and saying nothing to guests although asked for help. Also we had a problem with parking. Floor in the room was very dirty all the time, dust everywhere. Definitely not recommended.

Great location, near the best parts of the city and the English garden. Spacious room, but no air conditioning. Not really 3 star hotel -- front desk is closed at night. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. No free Wi-fi.

The location is great. The staff was less than pleasant and the rooms was run down. You have to pay for Internet that isn't the most reliable through Swisscom. They woudntlet me do early check-in which was hard after an all night flight. Not worth the price
