We were traveling to bring our daughter back from uni in Regensburg. We looked at a lot of hotels on the web. We wanted something close to the station and were told to try to get something near the old town. This one was five minutes from the station and stood out for looks and we were not disappointed. It is a very posh looking hotel but the prices were quite reasonable. Although MaximilianStrasse is predominantly pedestrian, there is a busy traffic cross-section nearby and the hotel is opposite a busy Macdonalds frequented by late-night youf.. So possibly a little noisy for some at night but the windows shut this out when closed. In high summer though you may swelter (as we did in late July) as there is no air-conditioning. |

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. Large comfortable clean rooms. Breakfast buffet very good, staff excellent. The restaurant staff are a nightmare. Be aware they are not hotel employees so do what they like. The hotel needs to look at their association with this restaurant!! |

The hotel was very nice and the breakfast and breakfast room were super With the current climate change we are experiencing the hotel needs air conditioning. Fans don't do it and it is hard to sleep on the 3rd floor when it never gets cool. Same problem everywhere in Bavaria |

Fantastic castle-like hotel in centre of Regensburg with nice spacious rooms and superb breakfast in beautifull restaurant room. Good atmosphere. Unfortunately ther ia no airco in the rooms. Instead a big fan is provided. |

The nicely designed rooms. The overall flair of the hotel. The central location to the center of Regensburg. Breakfast service was poor. One hour before close, the buffet was half empty. Refilling was slow or did not happen at all. Staff at breakfast was very polite but also very unexperienced. |

Location is quite nice and the building itself is very impressive. New decor in the room, bathroom decor and condition is excellent Breakfast buffet selection is more like a 3-star hotel; other than the location and the building, this is rather a 3 star hotel. |
