Other attractions include the Dorotheenhütte (glass-blowing factory) in Wolfach (25 km) and Triberg’s Black Forest Museum featuring Europe’s largest barrel-organ collection (500 metres).

A relaxing, quiet stay in a beautiful setting. We didn't use the spa, but it was very attractive. The dining was excellent. A perfect location for furthur exploration of the area. |

Our rooms were overlooking a beautiful landscape of flower garden and just walk distances to souvenir shops. Spa is right on site. No bath soap. |

My wife and I loved the included access to the pool/hot tub and spa area. Location was also excellent, right in the middle of town with easy/secure parking! Our room was in the older part of the hotel, it was very warm at night with little or no air circulation. We found out after our stay that for about 40 euro more we could have stayed in the newer area thats closer to the spa area. Next time we will be paying the 40 euro extra! |

Der Wellnessbereich lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Das Restaurant ist wirklich hervorragend. Die Einzelzimmer sind recht klein und die Zimmerausstattung eher antik. Dies ist aber wohl so gewollt und passt auch zum Flair des Hotels. Leider gibt es Einzelzimmer nur im Haupthaus und nicht im neuen Nebengebäude. |

très bon acceuil, spa excellent,vraiment très bien équipé ,hotel bien situé par rapport aux visites à faire très vieil hotel ,salle de bain trop etroite, lit à l'ancienne ,pas toujours apprécié , drap housse troué(ne devrait pas arriver pour un 4 etoiles) |

Wij vonden het personeel erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt was zeer goed. Ook werden de kamers goed schoongehouden. De badkamer was erg slecht ingedeeld. We moesten in bad douchen en doordat het plafond schuin omhoog liep konden we daardoor niet rechtop staan. Het bed was ook niet echt comfortabel. |

Uiterst vriendelijk personeel, uitstekend restaurant Het interieur en de kamers zijn verouderd. Andere viersterrenhotels hebben dikwijls airconditionering, maar dit is vermoedelijk het beste hotel van de lokatie |

Frühstück war fantastisch, Wellnessbereich ebenfalls. Auch die Lage direkt am Markt und den Wasserfällen ist nicht zu toppen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer waren doch in die Jahre gekommen (EZ im Altbau) mit kleinem (wohl 190x90) Bett und etwas zusammen gesucht wirkendem "antikem" Mobiliar. Bad ebenfalls sehr klein. Für den normalen Preis (wir buchten ein Special) ist das Hotel eigentlich unangemessen teuer |

hotel très agréable ,nous avons particulièrement apprécié le super espace SPA d'accès libre !Excellent restaurant ( un peu cher!).Chambres réparties dans 2 batiments ,le principal et un autre avec accès direct au Wellness.Beau petit parc avec chaises longues . surface des chambres un peu juste ,literie trop souple et réveil par sonnerie des cloches de l'église toute proche à 7h 30...ambiance quelque peu surannée et "vieillotte" d'un établissement datant de 400 ans ,que l'on peut ou non apprécier..(la salle à manger "rouge"notamment donne l'impression de diner dans une oièce de musée!!) |

Das Ambiente, das Essen und der Wellnessbereich sind großartig, der Service überaus freundlich und die Sauberkeit ausgezeichnet. Der Sauna- und Wellnessbereich läßt keine Wünsche offen. Extrawünsche im Restaurant wurden gern erfüllt. |
