1) Big room 2) Very quiet 3) Excellent quality of sleep 4) Free parking in front of the guest house 5) The room was cleaned and a fresh set of towels provided every day
1) It takes too long to drive to Munich (no nearby Autobahn) 2) Sleepy town (couldn't find a fast food restaurant of convenience store opened after 8 p.m.) 3) Boring surroundings (the Alps only become interesting behind the Austrian border) 4) No (free) Wifi in the guest house (only in the main facility)
A -excellent quality in every aspect B - huge pool and sauna C - staff very friendly D - excellent room (huge- it looked like a flat actually) E - nice tv F / 2 lifts G - safe was present in the closet Excellent hotel and a much better choice for who wants to get to know Munich but Do not want to stay in munich. Bad tolz is very cozy and comfortable. An amazing part of Bavaria!
Hotel pretty much designed to elderly people so... A - no wifi in the rooms B - 2.2 km from hauptbanhof of bad tolz Which means that if you are a backpacker and does nod have a car, and considering that there is only one bus per hour and a train per hour, you are going to take aprox 1,5 hours to get to Munich.
Maybe it would be wise not to mention the numbers on the parking places and your voucher. They are always occupied by others while theirs' is occupied as well. Just show guests where they are and "full is full".
Quiet rooms and size
No internet; additional charge for tax (not included in quoted price of room); no breakfast included in hotel price; breakfast was not served at 7am or before; business appointments of traveler at 7.30am or 8am necessitate leaving hotel without breakfast; also nearest eating cafe a km away. No receptionist at night, hence no info for late arrivals; reception not always manned. This is mainly a rehabilitation Clinic-cum-guest rooms for some travelers. .
The room was really huge
There was no possibility to drink coffee in the morning.
Having to ask for things that should have been included. Dealing with the receptionist was a nightmare, she was not friendly or polite!
