Modern bathroom in the private twin room
Check in time was 4pm
Near train station
No lockers in the room (coin operated lockers near lobby), Wifi cuts out ever 20m, unfriendly staff, credit card fee, drying machine only runs for 15 minutes
The value for money
Some of the staff weren't nice and helpful most of the time. Available drinks and food but expensive. Internet connexion was pretty poor.
good public transportation disctance
staff was unfriednly and unorganized bathrooms were smelly and dirty
The terrace is nice, the place is safe and clean.
If you can, ask for a room that doesn't have a window facing the interior terrace, since it is very noisy with the echo.
The price. The restaurant. The facilities.
The cleanliness (it was VERY dirty, we walk on [I hope it was] sand). The beds.
a bathroom in the bedroom, roomy, really close to the wall and the best places to go out in Berlin.
Far from the centre, though close to the Alexanderplatz (shops, restaurants, etc.)
Late arrivals will have no problem checking in
Theres no number on the bed where youre supposed to be sleeping. I had a hard time searching for my bed due to all people are putting all their stuffs everywhere (floor, under the bed, etc.)
The bunk bed actually moved as and when trucks travelled on the road?!!
The location is good! It's near the U5 Webiewise, although not in the city center. The bar in the entrance is quite useful.
Common areas were really dirty as well as the rooms and common bathrooms/showers. The Wi-Fi wasn't reliable and only available on the reception. The lockers were paid, 2€ or 3€ per day, depending on the size of the locker. Some elements of the staff were quite rude and not willing to help at all. The entrance in the hostel is not really supervised.
Nice cheap hostel right in centre of Berlin
It is near a major Street and U-Bahn station. I could use my debit card to pay.
The bathroom did not have a door and it was dirty. The room allows no privacy and the lockers did not work. The public área in the lobby is set up in a poor way, so it is hard to meet fellow hostellers.
Cleanliness and ambiance in bedroom was good.
Staff at reception unfriendly TV reception for English speaking channels - not good. I thought I booked a hotel and it turned out to be a HOSTEL! My mistake.
I only like the location.
The hostel is very dirty, seems like nobody cleans it. I was travelling with my husband, they put us in the room with only guys, even though they were rooms with other empty beds as well. But the worst thing was dirt, shower, toilet, floor of the room, not mentioning the bed. I guess it's the worst hostel I stayed in.
The staff was very friendly, and all spoke English fairly well. The hostel is very close to U5 Weberweise, which will get you to Alexanderplatz very quickly. You must use their sheets, but they are included in the nightly fee. Towel rentals are two euros for a large one and one euro for a small one. The WiFi was fast.
The shower is awful--very small and low water pressure. There is also no way to get a good angle with the shower head, though it does detach from the wall. There's not much of anything interesting within walking distance. They also do not allow outside food or drink in the lobby, which is quite annoying. WiFi is only accessible in the lobby.
location (fine with transport and supermarket on the other side of the road).. thats all
no lockers, not enough stuff on the kitchen, dirty, stinky in the shower(i guess its berlin problem, not just a hostel), wi-fi is trashed, many people... the worst place i ever been
Although the Wifi here is free, and I type the password is ok, but finally I can not to use it.
The location is quite excellent! It's near to the U5 Webiewise. Just only 5 minutes walking. The hostel is very huge and have a lot of things to do like a games in the living room or you can relax in the garden outside. It's pretty nice location and good for you to stay. You will meet a lot of traveler but there are a lot of student too. The bed in mixed room is also great.
the bathroom in the room is quite small. the wifi only in the living room. the electric socket in the room doesn't work. the locker in the room is also can't use.
- close to the metro station (U-Bahn Weberwiese) - the room was clean
- staff quite rude - poor breakfast (no vegetables or fruits)
Very good location and good public transport connection. Easy to get there also during night.
view on the street
The staff was friendly and nice, the location is quite okay. Bed sheets were clean, bathroom was also ok.
It was a bit messy overall, staff wasn't really helpful when it came to city info, 10 people in one room is a bit much, elevator was quite slow, internet didn't work and I think it's not really secured since the entrance is not really supervised.
The room and sheets were clean.
In our room there was no closet, so we had to leave our clothes in the luggages. There wasn't even anything to hang our towels to.
Location and staff
The cleaning in the room was poor (I don't know what there was in the bed linen but we woke up with a lot of itch) and the breakfast isn't good. Even if you'll come back from a party, with hangover, I suggest to don't have a breakfast in the Hostel. The worst sausage that I've eat in my life.
the reception staff were phenomenal.esp SIBEL TUTU.we were there for a day and she made it absolutely simple with maps and directions. always a smiling face for my million and one questions....bravo
we were 4 adults and a child.the room was good given a hostel accommodation, but would have liked another bathroom.....
