Hotel-Restaurant Peifer    

We have been using this hotel on a regular basis [at least twice a year] for twenty years and would recommend it to anybody on the following basis. This is a very good family run hotel in a good location on the Mosel. With good facilities including free parking an indoor pool and dining terrace overlooking the Mosel. It offers great value for money and its restaurant is excellent and good value for money, but beware off portion sizes [ they are large to very large].

A family run hotel with a very friendly welcome particularly to our twelve year old son. Meals in restaurant were excellent and good value for money. The staff were very accommodating to us as we were staying as part of a large group and although we ate and drank together our bills were all separated out correctly for us. Breakfast was good with a selection of the usual juices, cold meats bread etc and a small selection of hot food. The hotel is situated on the river with a lovely aspect and it is a short walk to further restaurants. Staff do go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable. Would stay here again as a base to explore area.

Rooms are quite basic and a little old fashioned however this is reflected in the price you pay.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff and a splendid view. Food is really good and the terrace is also very nice.

Excellent customer service and fantastic staff, very polite and extremtely helpful. The hotel is definatley value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family. I'm definately coming back.

The indoor swimming pool could be a bit warmer.

Everything was excellent with friendly helpful staff.

My only complaint would be that our bed was not very comfortable and there were not enough pillows.

Hotel Peifer is perfect for either a relaxing break or a base destination to explore the wonderful scenary along the Mosel Valley. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and will assist you with any request to make your stay as pleasent as possible. Do not worry about the langauge barrier as there are staff who understand and speak English far better than my German, but it is welcomed by the staff when you try and communicate with a bit of German.

Although the location is peaceful we did find that being on the other side of the Mosel river across from the village of Loff where the nearest Bahnhoff (Train station) is , you may find it a little isolated. There is directly outside the Hotel a bus stop whioch goes directly to Koblenz 30 to 40mins away, if you fancy a city shopping trip. There was also no tea & coffee making facilities in the room but you can at any time go down and get some to take back up to your room.

Besitzer und Personal angenehm freundlich und kompetent.Wir waren schon einige male in diesem Haus.

Netjes, zeer correct, prima eten, goed ontbijt.

Het zenderaanbod op tv was erg beperkt,alleen duitse zenders,

Große geräumige Zimmer. Man ist nicht beengt. Gutes familiär gefürtes Hotel und Restaurant und gutes Frühstücksbüffet.

TV sollte schon dem heutigen Stand entsprechen. Noch alter Röhrenfernseher, sehr kleines Bild, wo auch die Bedienelemente teils schon nicht mehr so richtig funktionieren.

Het verblijf was heel goed mensen waren heel erg vriendelijk.En erg gezellig.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet !!! Sehr frisch und alles mit Liebe zubereitet - sehr angenehme Atmosphäre mit Blick auf die Mosel und die Weinberge. An der Stelle nochmals liebe Grüße an die Familie Peifer - jederzeit wieder.

Personalen, utsikten från balkongen över Mosel

För kallt vatten i poolen, man bör ta ner träd mellan floden och vägen för att öka vyn över floden, det håller på att växa igen. Inte så tunga rätter t ex med 2 snitzlar på en portion, vi saknade rätter med kyckling

Het eten was prima. Het uitzicht op de Moezel was mooi.

1) De kamer stonk naar mensenlucht. 2) de kamer was niet schoon; de kap van de staande schemerlamp was zwart van het vuil toen we 'm aandeden! De voegen badkamer waren niet meer wit. Oude smoezelige bank. 3) de airco badkamer maakte geweldige herrie (ventilator vervangen!!) 4) er was geen wifi, terwijl gezegd werd van wel. In andere hotels was wél verbinding. 5) de kranen in het toilet functioneren niet; heb een kwartier getracht mijn ingezeepte handen af te spoelen. Vreselijk!! 6) balkons zitten pal naast elkaar en zijn volledig open (geen enkele privacy).

Der Aufenthalt war gut, aber ziemlich teuer. Das Frühstück mit 8 Euro extra war doch etwas happig.
