Happy go Lucky Hotel + Hostel  

Tyckte om entrén o frukostavdelningen ljust o fräscht, även jättebra frukost!! Trevlig personal!!

När det gäller den goda frukosten behöver det tydliggöras hur och NÄR den ska betalas eftersom biljetter , kontroll osv. Även ett tydliggörande behövs ang att man ska bära ner sina lakan när man checkar ut !!

Free wi-fi in the whole hotel, rooms very clean and quiet (even though the hotel was full on the days of my stay), good map available at reception, S-Bahn station right across the street (Charlottenburg), lots of cheap and good restaurants/cafes nearby.

No elevator, so you have to climb up the stairs with your luggage (I was in the last floor, the 5th).

The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The cleanliness of the communal area was also commendable. Overall a good experience.

There was no lift in the building!!

Very friendly staff. Great location (for my purposes it was ideal location). There was enough quiet in my room. Very good price. In my next visit to Berlin I will stay only in this hotel!

If you want to pay by credit card they take extra money for service (3 EUR).

The ease and friendliness of the staff, great wi-fi and in the lobby and in the rooms caught. Good location - very close to the station and there are plenty of places to eat, and 2 supermarket - Russian and Asian.

Lived in dorm 8 beds. It's terrible when there is a snorer.

Very comfortable interior and design, soft beds, impossibly clean and friendly stuff. Also, it's right in front of the metro. District is calm and green.

As far as we didn't want to use the metro, it was a little bit far away to go to the center by foot.

-It's near u and s station (if you're travelling by train it's great)

-Lack of water for a day -one man of the staff (the guy of the night) was impolite and mannerless with italian costumers (he speaks well italian, especially if he want to insult) -the district has no attractions, is very expensive (there isn't a supermarket nearby but there are a lot of shopping centers), the evening everything is closed

- We got a nice 6-bed dorm with bathroom ensuite,with linens and towels included, for 10euros. The bathroom and the room were very clean and tidied daily. - There was free WiFi in the whole building, including the rooms. - Located right across the S-bahn station Charlottenburg, 3min walk to U-bahn station and just around the corner stands the bus 109 to Tegel airport. - There are many bakeries around and nice shopping street very close.

- There was no elevator and I had to carry my suitcase to the third floor. - There were no lockers in our room. - There were not enough keys for the room, so when I was coming back in the evening I didn't get a key but had to knock and wake the other people sleeping already in the room. - The worst thing was the receptionist on the night 27-28th April. I had arranged with the receptionist from the previous shift two beds for that night for 10euros each (for friends coming that day), but when we came back in the night he wanted to charge us 20euros per bed saying that it was 4-bed dorm and the other two beds were unoccupied. That was insane!!! Even in 4-bed dorm the price was 12euros per bed, regardless of its occupancy. But the guy was very rude and insulting and clearly wanted to take advantage of the situation. It is a shame such an unscrupulous personal to ruin the whole image of otherwise decent hostel.

Nice place to stay(sleep) and save money, qite big room, subway(metro) across the street, nice personnel. Free parking around the corner.

There was internet.

Staff were friendly and helpful and didnt get too angry at us when we over stayed check out! lol

The smell of cigarettes in the room. In my opinion smoking in the rooms should be banned.

Die Räume im Eingangs - und Frühstücksbereich sind sehr hell und freundlich gestaltet und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Hotel/Hostel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur S- und U-Bahn-Station.

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Das Treppenhaus und die Flure könnten ebenfalls mit freundlicheren und helleren Farben gestaltet sein - es sieht ein bisschen abgewohnt und einfallslos aus.
