Excellent location, good value for money and fab breakfast.

The Konigs attention to their customers, which provided a very enjoyable stay on all levels. The place is rather dated, but seemed to add to it's charm somehow. Fab location, very quiet - they just wanted you to be comfortable and they succeeded. Food great.

The couple running the hotel were really friendly and helpful in every single thing we asked. The hotel location is awesome, as it´s really central but, at the same time, you won´t be disturbed by any noises once inside. Good breakfast and room fairly big and really tidy.

Shared bathroom, although we never had to wait for it, so it´s not a big deal.

Room and bathroom a little 'tired' but still absolutely fine.

This hotel is perfectly located, right off the Kurfürstendamm, the main street through the center of the former West Berlin. It's a bustling place full of restaurants and high end shops, and located close to multiple U-Bahn train stations. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the room was reasonably comfortable.

Soap and shampoo not supplied in the bathroom,

Staff very helpful and always cheery. Breakfast was great in a lovely room that had lots of natural light, but made you feel as if you were in a country kitchen. Great advice on what to do in the city. Room was large and comfortable. It was also well situated in the city, right near the shopping streets and centres, great restaurants and very close to public transport. I would highly recommend this place.

Internet was a bit tricky, but solved by using it in the breakfast room

Location is excellent: quiet street with a lot of restaurants and bars, few steps from initial part of Kudamm. Rooms are clean and cosy furnished with a touch of vintage. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

It is built on the 3rd floor of an older building and each room is a little different.- very charming. An elevator was available and it was a short walk to the public transportation. The Hotel keepers were very friendly and helpful.

Family hotel, very nice and very helpful

The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel was spotless with a little bit of old charm. The breakfast was delicious and slightly different each morning.

The owners of this charming pension in a wonderfully characterful building are very welcoming. Great that breakfast goes on until 11am in the lovely breakfast room. The rooms are eccentrically and cosily furnished - all different. My single room was a good size, much better I suspect than in a standard hotel.

I think the enclosed shared shower/toilet needed an extraction fan.

Extremely convenient location and the hotel kept very nice people a rare opportunity to plunge into the aura of the old Berlin luxury apartment

This hotel was truly such a wonderful surprise. My boyfriend and I arrived here in the afternoon after a truly miserable night train experience. We were definitely looking for something good. On first look you wonder where the actual Hotel is in the big building, but you find it on the 3rd floor and are immediately welcomed by it. The rooms are cozy and the beds are amazing. Coming from a week in a half in Italy, we were surprised and excited at how comfortable the mattresses were. Chris and her husband Klaus, run this almost bed and breakfast. It is clean, warm, very spacious and a little bit funky (in a very good way, none of the towels match and I love that). They serve breakfast each morning which is an impressive spread of meats, breads, homemade yogurt, cereal, cheese, coffee, and soft boiled eggs. I could not believe it when Chris brought out the soft boiled eggs!! I was so excited. Apparently that is a German thing because we found it in the next two cities we visited, but they were prepared the best here. Originally we had only booked 3 nights at Hotel Columbus, but Berlin has so much to see and do that we wanted to stay another night. On the morning we were supposed to check out, we checked and it said they had another room available for the night. Chris was so accommodating and helped us switch rooms. They even moved our luggage for us. This night we spengt in a room that did not include a bathroom and it was still absolutely perfect and we were so excited to be staying there again. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Berlin. It was located close to public transport and easy to walk to close attractions. We loved it!

Extremely good location, Kurfürstendamm (theatres, cinema, restaurants, shopping area) is just nearby. Very friendly reception, thanks for all the help. And breakfast was excellent.

Very friendly and did everything to make my stay very comfortable. Chris and her husband were excellent. Traditional lodgings and a little gem in the centre of Berliln. Will come back for a long weekend with my partner. I would recommend to anyone.

Nice and helpful owners, well maintained and beautiful old building in a great location close to Ku'dam, extremely clean and very quiet room.

Still, a bit too expensive.
