Also recommended are visits to the wonderful botanical garden which is home to Europe's largest tropical greenhouse, to the Botanical Museum and to Dahlem's Ethnology Museum with its frequently changing exhibitions.
The lake Wannsee nearby invites you to go for a ride on one of the popular steam boats there, which take you on a tour around the capital.

They have a nice breakfast. By Berlin standards, it's "cheap". Terrible place. Poor security. Nasty staff. Run down. On a noisy street. Hard to find and not where we thought it was (not near where we needed to be). Few restaurants nearby. |

I liked that it was close to Sbahn and bus stations. You can reach the city center very fast and easily. The building was ok and also the room. The service was great. |

とにかく料金が安い。トイレ・シャワーの共用は値段を考えると当然である。部屋は広く、4名1室での宿泊も- まったく気にならなかった。 クレジットカードでの支払い用機器が故障中でカードが使えなかったのは、まったく想定外の事態だった。この- 件に関するホテル側の注意喚起がなく、チェックアウト直前に急遽現金を用意しなければならずあわてた。また- 、インターネットの接続ができるはずなのに出来なかった。 |

Insgesamt hat das Hotel unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert, was allerdings den Nachteil hatte, dass wir im Zimmer nicht rauchen durften obwohl wir Raucherzimmer gebucht hatten... |

Das Personal war sehr nett, die Pension ist günstig gelegen zum S-Bahnhof Lichterfelde West, von dem aus die S1 in Richtung Innenstadt fährt. Außerdem praktisch für mich: die Nähe zur FU Berlin, meinem Tagungsort. Das Zimmer war sauber und neu renoviert, allerdings etwas störender Farbgeruch und Geschmacksverirrung ;-) (Fototapete überm Bett). Das Hotel selbst macht von außen und im Treppenhaus einen sehr schäbigen Eindruck, die Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen sind dringend sanierungsbedürftig, und die Flure in den Teppichen sehen aus, als ob sie seit 20 Jahren nie gereinigt wurden. An einigen Stellen sind die Wandverkleidungen schadhaft, und es hängen Kabel heraus. Mein erster Eindruck: Oh Gott, billige Absteige! Das Zimmer hat mich dann aber etwas mit dem ersten Eindruck versöhnt. |

Für den Preis des Zimmers eigentlich ganz ok. Das Zimmer war überraschend ruhig in Anbetracht der nahen belebten Straße. Trotz sommerlicher Temperaturen war es im Zimmer angenehm. Gutes Frühstück! Ein bis maximal drei Stockwerke werden nur über die Treppe erreicht. Für mich selbst allerdings kein Problem. |

Es war sauber und gab einen großen Fernseher. Die Chefin war sehr, sehr nett. Ich habe mich in der Pension insgesamt nicht wohlgefühlt wegen der anderen Gäste (-> Gestrandete...) |

Die zentrale Lage. Die ruhigen Zimmer, trotz einer Hauptverkehrsstraße sowie das Frühstück, welches sehr reichlich und lecker war. Die momentanen Bauarbeiten! Diese könnte man in die Neben- oder Spätsaison verlegen, aber nicht mitten im Sommer während der Ferien.Die Sauberkeit, insbesondere die uralten, verdreckten Teppichböden im Zimmer und vor allem im Frühstückraum gehen gar nicht. |

Rummen var stora och hyfsat välstädade. Personalen ville gärna hjälpa till men hade stora språkbrister. Det luktade in pyrt av rök. Heltäckningsmattan var minst 20 år gammal och var helt igengrodd. WiFi fungerade inte på översta våningen. Ingen hiss och slitet, otrevligt trapphus. Kort sagt inget för den kräsne. |
