Breakfast was fair and the owner friendly.
The room was very poor, one electric socket was hanging out of the wall. The towels provided were so small that it was impossible to take a shower. The place smelt musty and was cold. The blinds did not work and so the window was was not covered. No attention to detail.Wifi die not work in the bedroom - only in the dining room.
Nice place in the forest, clean room. Friendly staff, breakfast was OK. Was OK for a night.
We had a family room with 4 beds but it had a shared toilet and bathroom which was quite old-fashioned (to be honest, the whole place is) and surprising.
The free long term parking, which has allowed us to make the Donauradweg by bike for days and then to go back to Passau and recover our car for going back home
Didn't make too much of a fuss when we arrived after check in due to getting lost on the way. Decent basement room, does well enough for a one night stay. Good breakfast
We had left our bikes in the shed and he nearly left for the day without letting us get them out!
Location close downtown
Smell of desinfection Poor bathroom fascilities Poor access to the room
Friendly and helpfull owners. Good breakfast. Possibility to park your car during cycling trip to Vienna. Safe place to store your bike during the night. Little repair workshop for bycicles.
Bedroom facilities dated.
Close to the city center of Passau, free parking
Musty smell in the room, no soap in the shower, personnel reluctant of late arrival
Room was very tired. Toilet flush was broken, shower riser broken and leaking tap in the bathroom. Non existent staff and they tried to charge an extra 10 euros over the booked price and insisted on cash payment only.
no wifi (although included) breakfast between 8.00 and 9.00 latest did not make up the bed payment in advance
Good long term car park
Shabby rooms and awkward check in times
Beautiful surroundings; spacious and comfortable unit; few minutes walk to the bus (and then a very short journey to the town centre); possible to walk to the centre (20-30 min); the owner, Mrs Frickinger, is a very friendly a lovely lady and so is the rest of the stuff, they made us feel welcome and always tried to talk to use despite the language barrier. Breakfast is the same every day so can get boring if stay for long, but everything is fresh and tasty (Bavarian style :)- hard if you are a vegetarian, nearly impossible if you are a vegan)
Rooms aren't cleaned regularly (matters if you stay for more than 1-2 days)l; very very little English so hard to communicate and receive information; almost no written information in English to help. Slightly further away from the centre so need to either walk long distances, or have a bike, or get a bus which is fine during day time but buses are rare in the evenings. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, not even a small corner shop- only in the centre, so if you arrive in the evening bring food with you or be ready to travel back to the centre to eat.
We booked the cellar room, but got the room on the ground floor for 60€. Recommended if you like to explore Passau by bike (free and you can see more) or on foot. Free parking space. Friendly hostess. Wifi works.
Don't book this if you like fancy rooms. Musty smell in the hall. Television peeps when its on.
We found the owner undo-operative.
Nice location, vg. Breakfast.
The room is comfortable and clean. The owners were kind.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful.
Poor cleanliness and musty smell in the rooms.
Super breakfast and allowed us to leave our car for free whilst cycling.
The only thing that I liked about this place was the breakfast. Did not had a large varity but all products were fresh and tasty and the coffe was great indeed.
Every thing was bad. The owner was very rude when I told him the internet was not working and I needed to book another hotel for the next day (i was on a trip back to my home country). The room and bath smelled ugly and there was only some kind of hand washing gel with no other amenities. Pillows very very bad and the sheets were thorn and cut. No air conditioning (hot during day and cold during night). The owner knoked on our door in the morning to get the cash (we were not even dressed ready to leave!)
Price was reasonable for what is was, location is out of town but a pleasant 15 minute walk into the old town, quiet location and good parking. Breakfast is all that you would need if basic.
There is a definite lack of friendly service and I nearly checked out before I checked in!! Room was very, very basic, clean but very outdated and you had to bend over to get into the small bed.
Location is good. Can leave the car at Pension and have a walk into a nice town. Good breakfast
Downstairs unit had a smell of sewerage in. Unit all aired and automatic smelly dispenser working. When windows shut at night there was a strong odour. Shower not hot enough for a shower. No free bike rental that I requested on booking. Owner not on site when we arrived. Note to come back in an hour on door. No internet in downstairs unit. Password in downstairs unit is out dated and very slightly different
