Location: 3 minute walk from 2 U-Bahn stations, right next to Ku-damm. Staff: were forthcoming (but only 1 spoke English). Room (single): spacious (about 15-20 sq. M.) and comfortable, though minimalistic. Bottom line - good value for money. The halls and rooms have very creaky floors that would be problematic for light sleepers. Every time you come back to the hotel you have to unlock 3-4 doors before you enter your room, with a pretty bulky keychain.

This pension is on the 3rd floor of a 100-year-old building.I love the decoration.The room is cozy and clean.The breakfast is wonderful.The hotel is about 10-minute walk from S-Bahn.It just takes 10 minutes to Hauptbahn hof.

Good location close to S-bahn. Breakfast is OK, our room was rather small, but the bed was perfect. Original atmosphere in the building, a bit old-fashioned, you feel like someone living there, in stead of a tourist in a hotel. Perfect value for money. Most of the staff was a little bit too silent, although not unfriendly. I think it has to do with language...

Great and warm room like being home...nice atmosphere in the hotel that makes you feel comfortable...good and helpfull supervisor...excellent breacfast (especially that thing up to a small piece of bread)...i also liked the breakfast room which is like an old house looks like a traditional home... I would love to a little bit bigger double room but still was great...double bed instead of two singles...and the location which is little bit far from the nice part of east berlin, which is most cultural place much more young people with happenings and better bars of course...allthough the transport system works great and you can stay out untill 12;30 or 01;00 without missing the train...

Good location, close to S-bahn, U-bahn and bus. Close to Berlin zoo. Nice neighborhood. Not recommend for people with a car. Parking on the street. Huge problems with finding a place to park.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, free wifi, decent room - all in all: excellent value for money! Shared bathroom a compromise, but everything is very clean and the value for money makes it worth it!

Fantastic hotel, great value for the money. The building was old and beautiful, the street was quiet and close to the public transport. Service was top-notch and the free breakfast was the best we had while in Europe.

Hotel is absolutely lovely, located in the beautiful old building in the city centre. All day long one can have free beverages in the breakfast room as well as cookies. During our stay weather was a bit rainy and hotel administrator offeres as an umbrella. Free internet, clean room, good breakfast!! Definately more than you expect for this rate!

Very nice old german flat was remade to the hotel. Quite old equipment, but in good condition. Clean enough. Good european breakfast. Nice staff, talks a lot of languages (at least 4 I heard). Good location, if you would like to see the center of western Berlin. The nearest subway station is Savignyplatz (S-line 5, 7, 75) goes to main railway station Hbf. Good value for money. Breakfast is from 8 till 10. It's better to come earlier. At 9:30 we hardly found a free table.

Location, though we prefer Mitte district. Frühstück pension in third floor. Big room. Quiet, no noises from street nor neighbour rooms. Clean. Great breakfast, no warm dishes, boiled eggs, plenty of fruit!!, Salad, bread. Excellent value for money. Feel the city more than in an international hotel. Good beds. Old fashioned. Friendly. Spend each day the money you save in a good dinner.

Obwohl das Zimmer eher Pensions-Niveau hat, würde ich die Unterkunft sofort weiterempfehlen. Man ist direkt am Kurfürstendamm und in einem interessanten Viertel. Das Frühstück ist überdurchschnittlich gut!
