Hotel Pension Ingeborg  

Location: 3 minute walk from 2 U-Bahn stations, right next to Ku-damm. Staff: were forthcoming (but only 1 spoke English). Room (single): spacious (about 15-20 sq. M.) and comfortable, though minimalistic. Bottom line - good value for money.

The halls and rooms have very creaky floors that would be problematic for light sleepers. Every time you come back to the hotel you have to unlock 3-4 doors before you enter your room, with a pretty bulky keychain.

Good location, close to S-bahn, U-bahn and bus. Close to Berlin zoo. Nice neighborhood.

Not recommend for people with a car. Parking on the street. Huge problems with finding a place to park.

This pension is on the 3rd floor of a 100-year-old building.I love the decoration.The room is cozy and clean.The breakfast is wonderful.The hotel is about 10-minute walk from S-Bahn.It just takes 10 minutes to Hauptbahn hof.

Very nice interior, you call tell that they have put much thoughts in it. Sharing bath was not a problem at all (there is sink in the room), since the other nice things more than make up for it, it's very cozy. It's like a nice b&b experience. My room facing the courtyard was very quiet. But the street seems like a quite street also, little traffic, no bars.

For me who sleep until late morning, the window curtain could be thicker.

The third bed in the triple room was only a extra bed for a short person.

The price-quality ratio was great, at least in October 2011. The location is good: it's only 3 blocks from Savignyplatz S-Bahn station and one block from Ku'damm. The street is green, with beautiful houses and charm. The atmosphere of the pension was cosy and charming. The breakfast buffet was tasty and rich, considering that many other hotels serve no free breakfast. The room and the furniture were cute. My window was to a nice-looking inner courtyard. The set of four keys was fun. The elevator with its locking door was a sight. For someone who demands a modern keycard, sterile corridors, and 24/7 reception, don't choose this place. For anyone who likes a bit of romanticism, the quiet elegance of old apartment houses, and a really good value for your money, choose this.

Fantastic hotel, great value for the money. The building was old and beautiful, the street was quiet and close to the public transport. Service was top-notch and the free breakfast was the best we had while in Europe.

Hotel is absolutely lovely, located in the beautiful old building in the city centre. All day long one can have free beverages in the breakfast room as well as cookies. During our stay weather was a bit rainy and hotel administrator offeres as an umbrella. Free internet, clean room, good breakfast!! Definately more than you expect for this rate!

Very nice old german flat was remade to the hotel. Quite old equipment, but in good condition. Clean enough. Good european breakfast. Nice staff, talks a lot of languages (at least 4 I heard). Good location, if you would like to see the center of western Berlin. The nearest subway station is Savignyplatz (S-line 5, 7, 75) goes to main railway station Hbf. Good value for money.

Breakfast is from 8 till 10. It's better to come earlier. At 9:30 we hardly found a free table.
