The only downsides I guess come from being in a small family run place. It's in a tiny town, not even that really, however this was fine for me as I wasn't somewhere more secluded. It is well Served by public transport. And a kettle in the room would have been nice so that I could make some tea. Again. These don't change my high opinion of my stay!
Wonderful stay. The location was great- on the doorstep of the Black Forest, but rig near the station, a supermarket and a handful of restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and shower was good and the wifi worked without a hitch. Breakfast was simple but fresh. The owners spoke great English and even French and were friendly and helpful. They gave me local recommendations, a train timetable and even picked me up and dropped me off from a nearby train station when the local line wasn't running! I would definitely stay here again.
