The room was too cold. The Wi-fi did not work. The breakfast was poor.
Staff friendly and helpful, 24h reception, buffet breakfast. Fast wifi in main building
On first visit, wifi in quiet block wasn't working, but they moved me to a room in main building. Decor a little battered, but this was just after October beer festival.
Good position and nice staff.
No Wi-fi in the room or area, just in main building.
It is located in the middle between central station and Teresienwiese.
The room rate will go up triple or quadraple during the Oktoberfest!
Walking distance to Octoberfest grounds and downtown areas. Breakfast was excellent.
Was a bit of street noise during Octoberfest but you must expect that with the train stations so close and the festival grounds so close. Parking was not good, had to park at the Toys R Us indoor lot a few blocks away from $20 EU a day.
Friendly family run hotel. A little west of main town centre but with tram stop 30 metres away so has speedy access to main station and town centre. Decent little pub just round corner. Less traffic noise than central hotels.
No lift so not suitable for the infirm. As of early Nov 2014 building going on next door but double glazing keeps most of the sound out.
very good value for money and all that we needed. Also very clean
The location. This was the main reason for selecting the property. Wi-fi being the second reason.
The mattress, too soft. The shower.
i have a family with children and they give us a room in the 4th floor without elevator, you can imagine how my kids clime stairs all the way up, No one helps you with the bags, i was having 7 big bags i had to carry them by myself to the 4th floor without elevator wasn't clean enough, i found hair and dirt in some of the beds, smell allover the place the design is too odd, the toilet has a sink in front of it! you can't sit probably if you have a privet car it would be hard sometimes to find a parking space The breakfast was too humble
Beds. Very limited wifi range. Smell of smoke in rooms.
The Hotel is small in stature but the owner is fantastic and greeted us warmly. She explained there had been a problem with booking company and was putting us in the penthouse. It was good of her and she even let us have a discount of our agreed price.Breakfast was pleasant,European in style.
Only downside may be that it is a small hotel and has no lift to upper floors, not a problem if you are mobile but it could be tiresome if you were elderly.I'd suggest asking for a room on lower floors if that is the case.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good, the room was fantastic and only five minutes to Oktoberfest!!!!
The staff member that was in charge of breakfast was kind of rude
The men working at the front desk were so unbelievably kind. They allowed us to store our luggage behind the desk after we checked out and were extremely generous. Can't say enough good things! It's also in the PERFECT location for Oktoberfest - a straight 5 minute walk at most and an easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. I would 100% stay here again if I returned to Oktoberfest or Munich.
Location was good, quite near the central train station. 2+ km walk into the main part of town was good for us. Staff were quite friendly and helpful.
Certain aspects of the facility were not well maintained. For example, the shower mount was broken and the drain was quite slow so that the water pooled to your ankles. Small things, but which could be easily remedied. Not an inexpensive stay, so the little details were disappointing
Breakfast good location to Oktoberfest good location to public transport good
We were put on the 5th floor with luggage we had for travelling for 5 weeks and no lift Can imagine older people would not be able to manage the stairs
Fairy close to city center
Room very warm, no A/C and street noisy. Often nobody in reception,
This is a nice little hotel not too far from the train station (10 min. walk). There was a modest European breakfast. Only the owners spoke English but they and the staff were accommodating.
No elevator...but we were told at booking.
Good location, clean, friendly and reasonably cheap for a City Center Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good for a 2 night stay which we did but probably wouldn't consider for anything more than a 4 night stay.
Breakfast - very limited. It might be an idea to provide a better breakfast and charge and give guests the choice rather than include breakfast in the price with what was on offer.
The staff was very friendly and helpful; breakfast (though meager) was served early for those needing to catch an early train. Location was an easy walk to the train station.
The rooms were seriously in need of new carpet and furniture. Dark and dreary. Mold in the shower. Pink building exterior pretty ugly. With upgrades, I could give Pension Margit a much better review. Neighborhood is not great but an easy walk to train station. Not appropriate for disabled persons due to no lift.
No elevator, no A/C
The staff on the desk were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately Internet was not easily accessible (one of out teavellers didn't have at all in their building) We had one 1 of 2 curtains so very light in room early and the room with no WIFI had a leaking toilet, with a contentiously wet floor. Breakfast was typicaly European and average compare to other places we stay in Germany.
The accommodation is value for the money; Room is large enough, but bed are not so comfortable.
Option for breakfast is limited; no elevator, hard to get to the room if you live in 5th floor.
Personnel Clean room
the very modest breakfast and a big modern bathroom but with half a shower curtain from the sixties making a mess of your bathroom floor is not justifying the price per night. I had much better for that price in Munich
Staff was friendly
Room was very small. Rather noisy
We do not usually stay in expensive places and are used to roughing it. But Pension Margit was really bad. Thank goodness, we only stayed one night on our way to another destination We booked a double bed. The bed was slightly bigger than a twin but not as big as a double. We leaned the bed frame against the wall and squeezed the mattress on the floor and got a little more room that way. The grout between the shower tiles and the entire ceiling in the bathroom were covered in black mold. Wi-Fi was not working when we stayed. We were in Room 7 which was on the ground floor next to the outdoor terrace. We were awakened at 7:00AM by the smell of cigarette smoke and loud talking of other guests eating breakfast on the terrace. Breakfast was mediocre.
