Great private location. Excellent facility. Staff was great and spoke English very well. Dining area is great. The buffet dinners were an outstanding value - food was excellent and priced very reasonable. There is a great view of the surrounding mountains, but make sure you get a balcony looking in one of the right directions. Good aromatic sauna. Our room was very nice, but the balcony overlooked a roof and the parking lot. Workout room is antiquated by American standards. The location is quiet and private, but a ways from the main town - which way ok for us, but may not be for everyone. Make sure you make reservations for a massage in advance.

We loved the hideaway spot, the peace and solitude. The facilities were excellent. When arriving at night, not well marked or lit. However once you find it, it is truly great.

Uitstekend diner buffet en zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening. Voor de kinderen een leuke speel ruimte en een hele ruime kamer met een apart kamertje met een stapelbed voor de kinderen. We hadden iets meer uitleg verwacht over het hoe en wat zeker met betrekking tot het eten. We hadden ook geen idee van de kosten. Die bleken gelukkig mee te vallen.

Das abendliche Buffet war hervorragend Für mich persönlich war es zu isoliert gelegen. Für Familien sicherlich ein tolles Hotel aber für Alleinreisende nicht unbedingt ideal.

Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities, clean, good breakfast. Would certainly recommend this to friends and family! One of the nicest hotels we have ever been in! Our mattress was a bit hard, and the room wasn't spacious, allthough we did get a discount for that. But the view from the room on the surroundings and the lake was superb.

Wir hatten eine sehr geräumige, komfortable Suite im Nebenhaus, obwohl wir ein DZ gebucht hatten. Sehr angenehme Überraschung. Dass hier der Seeblick fehlt, war absolut zweitrangig, denn auch die restliche Umgebung ist sehr schön und erholsam. Lage absolut traumhaft, wenn man einmal die Seele baumeln lassen möchte und von allem abschalten. Dennoch ist man in ca. 20 Autominuten im Zentrum von Salzburg und in 5 Autominuten in der Fußgängerzone von Bad Reichenhall. Besser geht es nicht!

The Seeblick is an excellent family-run hotel which deserves a rating higher than its 3 star superior rating. The level of service and attention to detail is better than many 4 and 5 star hotels. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel and gardens are beautifully maintained and help to create an atmosphere where you can enjoy a relaxing holiday. The location is superb, with wonderful views of Thumsee and the surrounding area. It is a lovely area for walking, but is also very convenient for excursions to Bad Reichenhall or Salzburg. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and look forward to my next visit.

It was simply amazing. Food and staff went above and beyond. We want to come back soon with many guests. Wonderful family/honeymoon/relaxation place! Should be considered a 4 star hotel!

“This hotel is in a great location. It is about 20 minutes (walking) from downtown Berchtesgaden and a 2km drive from the Almbachklamm (gorge). The Salzwerk Salt Mines are very close as well and I had an amazing view from my balcony. Some of the other rooms have awesome views of the Kehlstein Haus (Eagles Nest).
