The price was fine for the location and including breakfast. The room was large but not very well furnished.
Limited reception hours. Do not book this hotel if you are arriving late in the evening. They will wait for you but it is understandably a huge inconvenience for them. The wifi was extremely unreliable. The shared toilet/shower facilities were very uncomfortable.
Great place with lots of places to go out eating. It have food shop, liquid shop, U-bahn line just beside it. Breakfast was simple but good enough. The owner was very polite and helpful even though he was not speaking english or german.
Wi-Fi was not reaching our room, so we had to go to corridor to use it. You will have to hurry with your breakfast becouse it's just 8am to 10am. They should have check us in 12.30pm but they managed to clean our room just little after 2pm. The furniture were strange to use. It had 5 beds in room and only one chair (we ordered a room for two).
Near subway station Breakfast is ok
Sometimes not easy to reach the receptionist WiFi is weak
Very nice staff - the owner was waiting for me while my arrival time was at about midnight.
Cheap. The man at the reception is very kind.
They don't clean the room every day. The private bath consists in very old and pictoresque shower and a basin. The wc is shared (there are two). The breakfast is poor and there is plastic fruits on the table (maybe the one you see in the photos). Staff doesn't speak any language. I couldn't understand them clearly.
very good location, near to the metro station, clean and very nice stuff
a little bit noise maybe, but for me was acceptable
Nice location in the center of the City, free breakfast and free Wifi. One of the best Budget Accommodation you will find in Berlin.Nice friendly Stuff, and all very uncomplicated. Subway,Supermarket,Restaurants just minutes away. If you're looking for Gucci,Armani,Dior,Bentley or Rolex at Kurfürstendamm, you are within a short walking distance.
Noisy, with spiders around my bed, far from the city center, the wifi not works very well...
Its very near to the metro station
Location, close to metro station and silence by night
Chinese owners with very little sense of hospitality, cleanliness, and European rules about commerce (I had to complain with Booking.com because they did not want to remake a wrong invoice made to my company and I had to pay German vat even if European rules say I hadn't). Moreover towels in the room were ridiculously small, nobody cleaned the room in 7 days, food was dirt!!! (Those long and black Chinese hair were everywhere in the food, which was also very poor in choice and always lacking
Reality was nothing like the pictures. Not uncommon, I know, here it was drastic. The people working there (the owner?) does not speak German or English in a way that allows to address any concern. Also, check in time is very limited and I was kept up for hours after midnight with someone who wanted to check in and buzzed the bell in vain. For hours. Staff could not be reached by the cell number given for emergency cases. Dreadful!
The staff, especially the reception lady Tina
The roommaid did not change the towels and sheets during my 9 nights long term stay.
Cheap price in nice neighborhood with a good choice of restaurants (the Persian restaurant just at the corner is excellent). Street parking isn't that expensive and just in front of the door. The owner is Korean and his German is basic,English is similar. As my Partner is Korean that wasn't a problem. Because of the common language I felt like he did more effort to welcome us than for others.
Far from the main tourist attractions in east Berlin but I knew that before booking. Bed isn't comfomfortable. Everything very old and very simple, furnished without love. shower in the middle of the room and you have to turn on the waterpump on and off.
Very very noisy. Breakfast table at my door. No fire escape or call points or escape route maps. Dirty and smelly shared toilet. Payment demanded on arrival. Curtain hanging off rail. Cracked sink. Leaking window with polythene bags stuffed in gap to keep rain out. Dampness on ceiling. Antiquated standalone shower unit in the room. I could go on ...... this place hasn't seen any investment for 20-30 years. I wouldn't call it a hotel.
Great price! Good place to stay and very friendly and helpful staff.
Value for money
Value for money, location (near U-bahnhof Zohenhollernplatz) and includes breakfast.
The seemed to be no option to checkout late
Good breakfast for this price. Good location. Free wifi.
No hot water in the room shower!! Due to good audibility very noisy, if somebody is in the corridor.
I liked the location of the hotel.
The very fact that they gave me s military- type 2-level beds was disgusting.
The breakfast is good. There is free wifi in the rooms.
It was difficult to communicate with the staff in English, and the reception closes at night. The room was supposed to have a bathroom but it only had a shower, the toilet was shared.
The room was very clean and big, the breakfast was usual and for the price it is quite ok. The location is exactly near U-Bahn.
For the price the disadvantages are minor.
It's a nice hotel for the price payed. The facilities are simple, but it's clean. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is good. The subway station is around the corner and it's a quiet neighbourhood with services such as restaurants, supermarket and post office. I would stay there again and recommend.
Nothing to declare!
I liked the fact that the room was huge and spacious. It could accommodate more than what it stated. Clean and tidy as well.
The floor was creaky and sounds from the neighboring rooms could be heard with relative ease. The door frame was exactly in the best of shapes - the management should consider replacing it.
Really bizarrely cheap and I got a very large room, if not completely luxurious
I tried to check in late and asked the person on duty if I could pick up the key somewhere in a bar downstairs or such, but he spoke too little English (or German) to make it happen.
