surroundings, spacey room, clean bathroom, late check-in possible
poor breakfast (I recommend booking without breakfast, there are many places around to have a better one)
Easy to find . Quiet location. Clean basic rooms . Good value for money
Nice staff, good location, proximity of public transport, nice facilities
Good location, close to train station and a good, well known Indian restaurant.
One of the three mattresses in the room was quite uncomfortable and I resorted to sleeping on the bed base because it was more comfortable. Bedding was never changed throughout the duration of our stay. You can find better value for money.
Of course: a quiet room for a very reasonable price where you can relax. Only two minutes walk from S-bahn. Within half an hour in the haert of the city.
+great value for money +great location +lovely russian hosts
Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty and sufficient breacfasts. Towels changed every day.
No lift, but it could be the real inconvenience only twice, when you book in and out with your luggage.
Very clean and quiet location. It is near the subway station, direct line to the centre of the city.
The breakfast timetable is fixed from 8 to 10, not flexible but it is reasonable.
The surrounding area had an arty, relaxed vibe, with little galleries and shops and people sitting outside restaurants enjoying the summer evening. Parking was free - once we managed to find a spot. The restaurant across the street was very nice.
It was hell trying to get there by car. This part of Berlin was like one huge construction site. Almost every road leading in to the hotel was blocked off or one-way. Even with a GPS it was horrible. Then there was the parking - "available free nearby". It's a residential area where you park on the street, but so do the people living there. It was packed. We had to drive around and around in ever wider circles, until we finally found an open space. The whole experience was very frustrating. The room itself was large, but there was no uniform style to it. A strange mix of styles. Several lightbulbs were out in the bedroom and bathroom, and there were some wires hanging out around the bathroom mirror. There was a distinct feeling of lack of attention to detail about the place. Basically, it feels like a backpacker's hotel, for those who only want a bed and a roof.
The good choice for that amount of money.
location price staff light room
Good value hotel with easy access to central Berlin by S-bahn. Helpful staff, good clean room and satisfying breakfast. Excellent bar/restaurant directly opposite for dinner. On-street parking available.
Location near transport links. Bar opposite served very good value food and reasonably priced beer just right. My second time visiting for the Berlin Air Show and will definitely return.
Could be very noisy early in the morning due to dustbins being collected and street cleaning and being near to several rail lines there was noise throughout the night, however, because we had had a physical day we were very tired and nothing would disturb our sleep.
*Excellent value for money. So If I were to go again to berlin with limited budget I will go to this hotel again. * close to an S Train Station, which was very helpful.
* the breakfast area was very small. * no elevators and we were at the 4th floor :( * reception area is opened at breakfast but the receptionist is only available after 11:00 a.m.
The breakfast was really good. Simple but tastefull and good. The location oh the hotel was convinient because it was very close to the S-Bahn.
We asked for one big bed but instead we were given two small beds. The locking of the doors were not very secure and there was no elevator.
Friendly people, nice hotel and location. In one word: perfect.
Great location near S Bahn, very clean, nice room, free parking under the trees in the street, quiet neighborhood
Confortable bed, close to the SBahn.
There is no wardrobe/closet in the room. This sucks! The face towel was transformed after cleaning in floor towel. This I don't like! Question is: When I get there the first day do I get the face towel of the people that were there the night before? Also this means that the same towels are used for face and floor. Stupid! :) Make sure you don't arrive there in the middle of the night. The area doesn't look that good in the night. The building doesn't have an elevator and the wooden stairs are noisy.
The only drawback was the sound insulation. I could hear into the hallways and other rooms very easily, and imagined others heard me in my room.
Excellent location really close to the train station and good connections to the city centre, nice & quite neighbourhood, plus really clean place.
The bathroom is private but is in the corridor, which means you have to lock/unlock everytime you use it. Didn't bother me that much though.
Excellent location, 80 meters from S-Bahn station with very frequent trains going to Alexanderplatz, Hauptbanhof, etc. Wonderful personnel, with excellent attention, friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable, for a very good price. Cheap breakfast, which is quite simple but enough.
Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, English spoken, very near S-Bahn, and only about 10 - 15 minutes from central Berlin on the train. Several reasonable, English speaking restaurants nearby. Warm room in a very chilly February once I found that the radiators had thermostats. Reasonable quality if rather limited selection breakfast. Quiet residential area.
Facilities a bit basic but what do you expect for 35 euro a night for an en-suite room in a capital city?
Clean, good value, great location.
just a 2 minutes walk from the Metro from where you will be within 10 minutes in the city centre. Hotel is basic, but clean. If you will be like us only in the city, this hotel is more than fine.
It was a clean friendly hotel.
