1. Booked appartment for 3 people with 2 rooms having 1 small child with us 2. arrived on site, receiving appartment for 4 with 1 room 3. requesting replacement of room showing picture of apartment from booking.com 4. received NO answer from staff saying that we should have booked 2 apartments ... Location is out of historical part, for the same price you can have better place even in the historical part.
Small balcony with the apt Norma grocery store was about 5 min walk
Kitchenette was not ready to be used, as if they were trying to discourage its use. Their response to our request for pots, utensils etc was OK.
Good location- not far from Old town
The fact that all was well ordered and that there is a frequent bus service into the town centre. Parking easy.
Easy to find. Near to town. Shop just around the corner.
- nice pension close to the Passau center (2km, 20 minutes walk) - bike friendly, easy accessible garage in place - late check-in was no problem due to code-box with room keys next to the front door - excellent breakfast
silence and parking car
no closed parking for bicycle
Good value for money. Fair price for the breakfast. Parking is available and free in front of the hotel. Passau is a great place
Easy 20 minute walk along the river to bridge that takes you straight up into the old town. Fair sized room with balcony (which unfortunately overlooked the neighbouring garden). Proprietor and staff vry friendly. Ten minutes walk to the Inn Braeu which has a nice beer garden and serves good value wholesome food. Get there before 21:00 as the kitchen closes at about 21:45.Plenty of eateries and nightlife in the old tow .
No air-conditioning but a very handy fridge with icebox for chilled drinks (suoermarket right next door).
Staff were very helpful and friendly, and went to some lengths to chase the courier company which was collecting our bikes after riding down the Danube.
We found the Pension Vicus to be exactly as advertised. Room was clean and suited our needs.Lift was handy for luggage, no need to carry up the stairs. Breakfast was excellent to start a day of sightseeing. Location is great and a short walk to the Supermarket and Bus Stop. We took the bus to and from the old town, a day ticket very reasonable. Would definitely stay again if visiting Passau.
staff very friendly but does not speak English large rooms, bright, spacious a quiet location that is including parking a bit far from the old city center about 20 minutes walk (but the area is beautiful) from a few meters of location there are 2 markets where you can buy wath you need
Internet does not work For those who choose this location because it is described as self catering, attention she has no dishes or other items that help you cook
Easy access to town centre and local supermarket
I don't think the owners live on site they are not very welcoming
Room was very nice comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also nice.
We got there five minutes after check in time was ending and it was very abrupt with keys handed over and shutter for reception pulled down. So even though wifi was free not able to get a code. Even though you could have crockery and pans for the room no one to get them from. Desk completely unmanned. Don't be late!
comfortable, it had a lift (good for lugage). Walking distance to decent restarant.
the lady behind the desk was absolutely not interested in the customers. Parkin a car for a few days? Impossible, unless payed for...
Clean. Elevator. Coffee maker (if you ask for it).
The reason I selected this place over others was that it advertised self-catering and had wifi in the room. The wifi never worked in the room except for the last morning I was there (I stayed a week) and some days did not work at all even if you sat outside near the office. They didn't seem to have an explanation for this. You have to request dishes, utensils, pots, etc as there is none when you arrive. Then you have to request knobs for the stove! It is located in a slightly rundown area that is only convienent for supermarkets. You really need to take a cab or the bus to get into the town centre or to the railway station.
OK for the money with some quite strong buts!!!!!
They advertise a kitchen. No pans, nothing and no means of heating anything as the knobs on the hob have been removed. No wifi in room 14 as the signal does not go that far. No personel who speak English during the weekend
price should cover breakfast
