Plain room but in good location, good price, helpful staff.

The location of the hotel is excellant, less than ten minutes walk from the U-Bahn (Marien Platz) Whilst the family double room we had was a good size the only major downside was the size of the breakfast room. This is far too small for this size of hotel. It is cramped and fills up very quickly so if you need to be out by a certain time you have to be at the door at 7am. The buffet was on par with other hotels but again it was in a cramped space with people queuing to get food all around the tables. One morning we took our breakfast back to our room to eat. Design fault.

The location was perfect! It's within walking distance to many great Munich sights. We rented the two-bedroom apartment since my husband and I were visiting with his mother. It was a huge apartment with plenty of sleeping space. The breakfast was great, and we had a great time!

Not a very modernized establishment, no elevators, and our shower wasn't the greatest. But the value, location, and large space made up for it!

Not the most comfortable bed, but you got what you paid for. The area very close to the market so a lot of trafffic and deliveries and a bit noisy I the early hours of the morning. The hotel has no lift, but it was ok since I was only on the first floor. Not sure if every room is a smoking room. My smelt of cigarettes but I am a smoker and did not mind too much, but I can see that it might be something that would put a non smoker off. I would definitely stay here again. A hotel in a fab location to a fab price. -Next time Im making time for the breakfast.

Parking is difficult,can be costy(20-30€/day).No elevator.

- Great location - beside Victualienmarkt and Marienplatz - Our double room was clean, comfortable and warm - Breakfast was standard fare but plenty available up to end of breakfast. - Able to leave bag in the breakfast area on date of departure after check-out.

- Expensive for a pension - charging hotel prices ( although peak time before Christmas) for a fairly drab pension. - Breakfast room too small for the no. of people - Four tables and the food counter completely fill the room. We had to take two single seats at different tables or else we would have had to wait until people left. - Asked for extra blanket when we checked in, which was not delivered - we didn't need it anyway. - Overcharged on handwritten bill when checking out. When I showed my Booking.Com notification with a lower amount, the owner found that the amount had been transcribed incorrectly by them onto a large handwritten sheet used to prepare the bills.

Out dated and basic Rooms need refurbished

The locations was somewhat convenient.

Reception was inconvenient. Breakfast was good but area was cramped. Dusting the rooms did not seem to be a priority.

Excellent location, a couple of minutes walking from the city centre.

Rather expensive for what you actually got.

Breakfast was great

They made us change rooms and kicked us out for a few hours that day after paying a small fortune to be there (during Oktoberfest), and than gave us a room with only one bed, and a mattress on the floor. Not really acceptable.
