quiet, comfort, room design
The staff is great, the rooms are large and the bed is simply immense. The whole hotel is designed following a general concept, and you are greeted at every corner by an interesting idea, text or shape. The reception/lobby area is actually the hotel bar, with the reception desk embedded in the bar ! We also enjoyed the disco ball and the soft music that was playing at all times. And the pool table :)
The hotel is getting older, and the general feeling is that the building needs a revamping. The corridors have a funny smell, typical for older hotels, and the bathroom is REALLY old and dated. The highway is nearby, and some rooms are noisy. We had to switch rooms to another quieter area. Overall, the bads are smaller then the goods. Good find !
excellent value for money
very slow wifi
Room service selection limited Slow Internet connection
Front desk staff are very accommodating and hotel is a safe walking distance to many local businesses.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and responsive. There is an excellent bar in the lobby. Off-street parking is available (for an additional fee).
Nice cosy rooms Great lobby Nice, with a feeling of cosyness and nice animation in the evenings. Staff was nice and helpful. Though a few we're not very smiling. Food ok
Iron for clothes in very bad condition and took hours to come. Free wifi is toooooooo slow. No mini bar in room, no safe A bit far from Francfort but a good alternative when Francfort hotels are crowded or 3 times more expensive
Nice hotel with excellent breakfast choices.
No free parking for motorbikes, or any official under cover parking. Restaurant prices are significant!
great breakfast, great lounge area
no good public transit connection into the city centre
Everything was super. Nothing to complain.
Good location and price. We arrived at 2am after a long drive and so were very happy to arrive at a very clean and comfortable hotel.
The secured parking was 15EU per night which was too expensive. There was however free parking on the street if you can find one. Free wifi was average.
cozy, informal character. it's not your typical kind of hotel environment, as the reception is actually a bar. Very nice external sitting room. Very comfortable, cozy, clean rooms, good hvac system, great bathroom with decent hair cleaner. Very kind and helpfull staff. Nice surrounding area. Didn't eat breakfast but the dinning place seemed very cozy too. Very good value for money
A bit far from train station and center, but there are bus lines one can use to get there.
Close to my office
WiFi was absolutely horrible and complicated - with logging-in, then logging out. Not user friendly at all for moobile devices.
Clean, nice breakfast.
Far from center. But in fornt of the hotel there is a bus station and you can get to the ceter for 10 minutes. Expensive parking.
I like the location. The staff are exceptional, friendly and accommodating.
The bathroom was a huge disappointment. It was filthy. There we no toiletries. There was some damage to the tiles.
Room was nice size.Bathroom/Shower was big and clean.Paid TV was free.
To many Bus Tours with lots of people at Sunday Breakfast, but I do have to say they cleared out by 10:00 A.M. .
Everything was good
Incredible rooms (suite) for a very reasonable price. Great location. Excellent staff, nice bar downstairs.
Have to pay for wi-fi.
Trendy, cool establishment. Rooms were as described. Showers were huge and wonderful.
Pillows were way too soft! Internet was way too slow. Checking in to a bar is very wierd.
The atmosphere is chic and classy. The staff is friendly and courteous. There are many hotels to choose from in Wiesbaden and I will only stay at the Penta!
Staff is always amazing
The "Breakfast Included" option is no longer included on Booking.com...I think you would draw more customers if it was resummed. I see most people just going out to get breakfast during their stay. The refigerators should be standard in the Junior suites and alike. Doesn't make since to call it a suite if it doesn't at least have that. AC units are seasonal, but that is a bit of a problem for guest that also have seasonal allergies like myself. Was told they don't turn on until June 2014, but it was actually hot during my stay.
The staff was very nice and spoke great English. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Loved the shower!! I would stay there again!!
Didn't like that there was 2 comforters on the King size bed so we had to sleep away from each other plus that was the only covering to cover up with on the bed no sheet with the comforter but not a giant problem.
I specifically asked for a room with a bath, this for medical reasons. I didn't get one and was told that there weren't any available. They moved me for nights two and three and they were apologetic. I would have expected a credit for the difference in rate between the Junior Suite for which I paid and the standard room I ended up with but this was not offered. I got a good room, though.
