perfect place to spend a few days, we enjoyed everyting abouit it,

The Post Hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We had a lovely balcony with views of the alps. The pool and sauna were fantastic. We happened to be at the hotel on May Day and were treated to a traditional celebration and raising of the Maypole in the town square. Mittenwald was fantastic.

We loved the rooms immensely. They were spacious and opulent.

Absolutely nothing. This place ticked all the boxes - and exceeded them - and was simply cheap for what it offered.

Great hotel. Very close to the train station (about 120meters in front of the main exit) & right in the middle of the old town. Large very comfortable room and hotel is decorated in the tradisional alpine way, so you feel you are in the Alps even if you are inside the hotel. great few of the mountains. I will deffenitly stay there again if (I hope) I go that direction. .

The staff was very helpful. The Post is in a great location in a wonderful little town. Our balcony had a view of the alps----it was just gorgeous.

excellent location, the staff who speak good English are helpful and professional. The room has a big balcony where can see Alps just round.

The facility is so so.

The staff at the desk and the servers in the restaurant were extremely courteous and helpful. The front desk staff knew the area well and were great at helping us with directions and suggestions. The hotel lobby was a gathering place in the evening with groups playing cards or just visiting. We enjoyed watching a soccer match on TV with several other hotel guests. Breakfast was very good. Wonderful breads, cold meats and cheeses, fruit and even scrambled eggs. We stayed in one of the "older" rooms of the hotel. It's charm and character were just what we were looking for. The room key was attached to one of those old-fashioned heavy key fobs that just about assured you returned the key to the desk when you left the hotel for the day. All and all, this hotel has great charm and ambiance. Combine that with the beautiful setting in Mittenwald and the friendliness, helpful staff and you can't go wrong.

The only downside, if it really is a downside at all, is that internet access is only available in the hotel lobby. A very minor inconvenience.

Beautiful hotel sensibly furnished for comfort and relaxation without "Bavarian" exaggeration. Staff outstandingly helpful. Food very good cuisine including generous breakfasts. Well situtated.

Very friendly hotel & most helpful as my German was school boy level. Nothing was too much trouble.All reception staff speak English, some better than others. Being in the centre of Mittenwald is a bonus, I didn't need the car at all once I arrived.Everything is well within walking distance. All in all I would go back there again & stay at the same hotel.

Considering Mittenwald is a tourist area both in summer & winter very few signs or menus in English,The ski lift didn't have any English signs at all. Only Stern beer garden had an English menu. There was only cnn on the tv in the Post Hause Hotel.No other choice of programmes in English. Car parking at the hotel can be a problem if you arrive late, as it's not very large.

Our one night en route stop in this very traditional Tyrolean wooden decor hotel was most comfortable. Particularly appreciated were the free wi-fi, the swimming pool, the dining opitons and free parking

Excellent location in the heart of the town, very close to the train station. Stunning views of the mountains. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good facilities where you can spend a rainy day such as a pool, lounge area, terraces and balcony. Food at breakfast and in restaurant was very good, with lots of choices.

This was a wonderful hotel. Beautiful on the inside and you walk out onto the city mall area close to the church. This location was perfect. Of all the hotels I had stayed at during my 17 days in Germany and Austria, the Post Hotel in Mittenwald was my favorite. I will come back to this area and this hotel. Plus, Mittenwald is a lovely town.

The staff were particularly helpfull and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Restaurant great value for money and good quality. We will certainly come back and will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The Post Hotel is a wonderful Bavarian hotel centrally located to everything. The hotel staff were very helpful, offering free chair lift passes and other discounts to local mountain hikes, which we enjoyed very much. The restaurant was excellent for dinners, the breakfast was wonderful. We would love to go back again as we enjoyed our stay in this picturesque town.
