“ The manager (owner?), Anna I think, was so helpful and friendly. At breakfast there was plenty of variety to choose from and there must have been a dozen or so different kinds of tea available! The hotel itself was spotless and was a perfect stopover on the way to Munich from the UK. We felt very welcome and makes us feel inclined to see more of Germany at a more leisurely pace. So, if you're in this area, do not hesitate to stay at the Hans Sacks. ”

Situated at the foot of Montabaur castle and within a few minutes' walking distance of the Old Town, this traditional, privately run hotel offers cosy accommodation and is an ideal sightseeing base. All rooms at the Posthotel Hans Sacks were completely renovated in 2006 and are functionally furnished with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi internet access (for an additional charge). Get your day off to a fine start by helping yourself to the healthy and generous breakfast buffet. Take a stroll from the Posthotel Hans Sacks to discover Montabaur's historic buildings with their beautiful half-timbered architecture, and the many pleasant cafes and restaurants. The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from Montabaur intercity railway station. From here you can get to Cologne city centre, exhibition centre, Cologne/Bonn Airport and Frankfurt Airport within half-an-hour. Da es sich um ein Hotel mit 2 Sternen handelt, ist natürlich die Erwartung nicht sehr hoch, deshalb war ich angenehm überrascht von der wunderbaren zentralen Lage, der Sauberkeit und Bequemlichkeit und auch vom wunderbaren Frühstücksbüffet. Wenn ich mal wieder nach Montabaur fahre, werde ich gerne wieder im Posthotel Hans Sacks übernachten.

Er was een probleem met de internetverbinding, die ik voor mijn werk nodig had. Men heeft veel moeite gedaan mij hiermee te helpen, hetgeen uiteindelijk de juiste connectie tot gevolg had. Het hotel bevindt zich op loopafstand van een prachtig kasteel. Slot Montabaur. Het ontbijt is prima Het hotel ligt aan een drukke straat, dus er is enig geluidsoverlast. De kamer is vrij klein, dus zodoende prijs aan de hoge kant. Je kunt er niet eten, dit moet je in de aanpalende winkelstraat met voldoende restaurants doen.

Große Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Nähe zu Schloss Montabaur. Es war etwas hellhörig. Der Nachbar und auch der Aufzug konnten gehört werden. Gut für 1 Übernachtung als Geschäftsreisende(r)!

Sehr schöner, nostalgischer Frühstücksraum. Dieser wurde wohl vor 7 Jahren aufendig restauriert. Die selbergemachte Konfitüre war auch sehr lecker.

We liked the friendly staff and the proximity to the downtown and the chateau. The room was very small and plain. The bathroom was tiny but the shower worked well.
