Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, direkt an der Tram-Station gelegen, ideal, wenn man nur einen Platz zum Schlafen braucht! Eingang sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, hellhörig, laut, wenn man mit offenem Fenster schläft

Das Hotel hatte, wie versprochen, unzählige kostenlose Parkplätze, direkt vor der Tür. Man konnte in Fuss- bzw. Sogar Sichtweite in einem griechischen Restaurant sehr gut Essen gehen und auch die Strassenbahnhaltestelle ist nur 20 m entfernt. Das Frühstück war gut und bot alles, was man morgens braucht. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross, das Bad gradezu riesig, hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Das Hotel verfügt leider über keinen Lift, es gilt zwei lange Treppen zu erklimmen. Das ist, mit Kleinkind, vielem Gepäck, für ältere oder physisch beeinträchtigte Menschen ein enormer Nachteil. Ausserdem arbeitet das Hotel nicht, wie bei booking.com angegeben, mit Visa/ Master und/ oder ausländischer ec zusammen. Die Zahlung war ausschliesslich mit American Express oder in Bar möglich. Wenig unflexibel und sehr kompliziert, wenn man in einer fremden Stadt erst einen Bargeldautomaten suchen gehen muss. In dem Hotel roch es sehr stark nach einer Mischung aus After Shave und Tabak/ Nikotin, dieser Punkt war für uns am unangenehmsten und störte am meisten.

Der Service im Hotel war sehr freundlich. Beim Check-In hatte ich die Wahl zwischen einem Raucher- und einem Nichtraucherzimmer. Obwohl im Bereich der Rezeption geraucht wurde, was empfindlichere Nasen vielleicht stören würde, war mein Zimmer sauber und frisch, inkl. Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Das Zimmer war klein (kein Schreibtisch), aber ausreichend. Das Bad war sauber und machte einen neuen und gepflegten Eindruck (kein Schimmel o.ä.). Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig (Brötchen, mehrere Sorten Brot, Wurst- und Käseplatte, Eier, verschiedene Marmelade, Obst, verschiedene Sorten Müsli, Joghurt, Tee, Kaffee, Milch, Saft etc.) und wurde bei Bedarf immer frisch bestückt. Für mich war außerdem die Lage perfekt. Direkt vor der Tür ist eine Strßenbahnhaltestelle, von der aus eine Straßenbahn einen direkt in etwa 20 Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof bringt. Der Kaffee war nicht so lecker.
