The value was outstanding when considering the location and beauty of the hotel. The Prinzhotel Rothenburg is only a few meters from the wall surrounding Rothenburg, making the entire city easily accessible. The hotel is a magnificent building structure from the exterior. The hotel is a bit dated on the interior. However, such a great value could not be realized if the hotel was completely renovated.

Excellent location for visiting the area. Very friendly staff. Clean, basic, comfortable. We would stay here again. Breakfast was not included in rate, and we thought was overpriced, so we went to a local bakery a few doors down and it was wonderful and around 5 Euros pp.

location at the old city wall, good parking yet close to the old town of R. competent and very friendly staff good modern bath room the beds are horrible, much too soft and the matresses are cheap and flimsy

This hotel was perfectly situated to explore Rothenburg, being just inside the town wall near a main gate, but set in a side street so no traffic. Less than 10 mins walk to Marktplatz centre of town. Rooms spotless. Staff on desk very helpful and spoke English. We did not try their breakfast went to bakery in town instead. Only one complaint. We booked two rooms. Ours was fine, but second was much smaller. Both same price though. But for one night, not a big issue.

Location was great and rooms are decently suzed with comfortable beds and a ldecent size bathroom too. I would recommend checkout at noon with breakfast included in price and longer breakfast hours.

Staff friendly Light bulb in floor lamp and bedside table lamp burned out. Dirty scuff marks on the wall. Noisy. Sounded like a herd of horses were loose in the hallway above our floor. Swarm of noisy tourists made a lot of noise in lobby as though they were in a train station. No consideration for others.

I loved that this hotel is covered in flowers and vines growing on the exterior and has one of the finest looking towers located right next to it. It's picturesque and convenient. You can access the city walls easily, just steps away which was one of our favorite activities in the city. The other city sights were also an easy walk away. The rooms were simple, nothing especially memorable, but clean. The bathrooms were very nice. We had 2 small children staying with us, and they were comfortable as well. I can't comment on the breakfast, we ate on our own. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Lovely, charming, hotel and a perfect location, just inside city walls and the good distance from the Marktplatz to avoid pedestrian crowds and noise. Check in is at 2pm (14:00) and not a minute sooner. After approaching the desk at 1pm (13:00), I tried to check in again at 13:55 (1:55pm) and was told I was too early and to come back in 15 minutes.

“This wonderful historic hotel is right on the market square in the centre of town but still an easy walk from the station. The staff were very bright and friendly. Our family room was huge with lots of seating and plenty of space for the 4 of us and our luggage. The rooms were warm and quiet. Breakfast was good and the meals served in the hotel dining room in the evening were huge and delicious. This was a great value hotel in a stunning city and we would love to stay here again.
