The breakfast was not good
breakfast is little expensive.
Very nice location and nice pretty hotel
We were missing bathrobe and slippers
Front desk staff were super great. Patient and helpful to our 'clueless tourist' questions. We had a room rate that included breakfast but we overslept. The staff kindly offered room service breakfast instead. We did make it to breakfast the next morning and it was amazing! Ginger water! Excellent. The room was beyond spacious and totally quiet. Business double, room # 309. Pool is great. Location good! Dinner restaurant food very good. Waitress gave an extra glass of wine complimentary due to a kitchen problem. That was most appreciated because I was dining alone; brought a book, but it was too dim to read, and I was bored waiting an hour for dinner. Nice. Also they brought complimentary cookies to the room the first night. Sweet. I'd stay there again for sure.
Nespresso machine didn't work well for the first 2 cups I tried to make. When I ordered dinner in the restaurant, it wasn't delivered for an hour, and the waitress said they had a problem with the "technique", which I assume the grill or oven. Waitress was appropriately apologetic.
Thermal spa and histor of place
Breakfast too expensive
It is near to shopping street. Its traffic is convenient. You can take route No. 1 bus from from and to train station.
Wifi access is with low bit rate. It become better only after mid-night to early morning around 07:00.
No bathropes, no wifi, Poor Bar, the Staff didn't even know how to open a bottle of wine and discussed about payment of other guests over our heads. Unprofessional!!
Spa Helpful staff Location in downtown Wiesbaden
Although an older facility, this hotel met all our requirements, especially a good location. We were in Wiesbaden for the opera, which was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It is also very near the Kur Park, casino and pedestrian zone. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.
We had 3 rooms and although priced the same they varied in some ways, e.g. one had a bath tub vs shower and only 2 had desks. This was not a problem, but could mean guests have different experiences depending on which room they're in.
Good Location Close proximity to Christmas Market and shopping areas
Pay in cash, the hotel billed my debit card and it never works out to what you are originally quoted. Plus there is a extra pending charge no one can explain. Pay in cash and be done with it. They like to procrastinate until the exchange rate is in their favor.
Etra bed was placed on the way to bathroom and prevented doors from being closed.
The place is very central, very nice to walk around in the area.
The Room was very loud, facing the street, although we had asked for a quiet one
Just next to the main shopping area and 1 block away from Friedrich Therme, 5minutes walk to Christmas market. Building itself is gorgeous and spa facility is a nice addition. Business class room is spacious and very high ceiling with a small terrace (though lots of cigarette butts). Room was clean but towels and bathrobes were bit old.
Booked a business class room for 3 nights more than 3 months in advance but the room was overbooked when we arrived. Manager told us there was a room in Hotel Nassauer Hof but it was also taken, because it was told just one hour before. We had to walk to other hotel though my partner is handicapped. We stayed there for one night (awful) and paid the same amount of a business class room at Schwarzer Bock. Next day our room at Schwarzer Bock should be upgraded to Junior Suite but they only gave us a business class room as the original reservation. They offered a dinner at their hotel for compensation but we refused. We offered a deal of paying one night for two nights stay. And they accepted.
The room was ready and clean
We asked for adapters and told none available very disappointing from a hotel! Never happened to us no matter where we traveled them asked if someone can buy one at our cost was told no again. The iron available in the room therefore charged for everything that was ironed by a standard iron not even a steamer available as we were attending a wedding. Staff did not go out of their way very basic service never staying again.
the superior room we paid it was a standard room and they refused to change it
My husband got a beetle on his plate at beakfast
The location is perfect and staffs were helpful
Nothing to report
Good people at reception, as we have agreed on certain cutting of the expenses
Room very small Heating didn't work in the room Way overpriced, as parking and breakfast wasn't included in the price At SPA the blankets aren't removed after usage, but put back on the chair for other guests to use?!
A very good and historic hotel. All staff we courteous, polite and helpful. The room was exactly as it was advertised, well appointed and a pleasure to stay in.
Beautiful reception area, bar area lovely, great breakfast. Comfortable bed, helpful reception And bar staff.
Unfortunately, our room wasn't well serviced each day, coffee cups not replaced when dirty. View from window just roof.
Location was perfect. Newly refurbished room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable Pool/wellness area clean and not too busy. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful
Road noise - our room at the front of the hotel would have benefitted from some kind if soundproof windows! Traffic, sirens and general street noise until the early hours...not great with young children! Housekeeping a bit hit and miss.... they took coffee mugs and never replaced them, milk/ coffee on hospitality tray not restocked in the 3 days we stayed. Took our flannels and never replaced them! Parking very expensive ( but convenient!)
Staff were very good
Small and quiet restaurant. Took one look an opted to go elsewhere with some atmosphere. Seems with Booking reservations I always get rooms furthest from reception and in the 'back' areas of hotels. Will make me think more about booking direct if this contunues.
Great value for money, everyone very helpful, Wiesbaden very nice, good base for German Grand Prix
Very good combination of the modern room design and old building. Staff, service, quality of food.
There is nothing I can complain about.
Hotel was in an ideal location, the town centre was within easy walking distance. Pleasant atmosphere and very helpful staff.
