Comfortable and clean
Noisy - doors banging all night, kept awake by the elevator. Don't expect a lie in the church bells sound at 6.00 am every morning and then again at 7.00am constantly for 5 mins - every day !!!
Proximity to Autobahn. Good Gasthaus nearby for our evening meal. Helpful receptionist.
Our third (single) bed was basic.
Staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfasts were delicious. You won't miss your early morning appointments - close church's bell will wake you up at 7am sharp.
Only one English channel on TV (CNN). Parking isn't free. Hotel doesn't have own restaurant. You won't miss your early morning appointments - close church's bell will wake you up at 7am sharp.
The room was very spacious. The beds very comfy and the fan was fantastic. It was a good location to get to local restaurants.
There was a town clock right next to our room that was very loud at 7am this left no allowance for lie ins.
Proximity to Hockenheimring. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Staff all seemed unhappy with their job. Bar fridge didn't work and reception refused to rectify it. No kettle in the room - important for people with babies. Had to pay for parking.
Excellent location in the middle of Hockenheim and close to HockenheimRing. Great breakfast buffet. Parking garage right below the hotel.
Parking at extra cost.
room was fine for an overnight stay. nothing too special, so a bit overpriced, but it was fine and the beds were really comfortable. not far from the highway, in the city centre of hockenheim. the guy at the reception when we checked out was really friendly.
the hotel was a bit oldfashioned. the guy at the reception when we checked in was not really friendly. breakfast was really expensive, so we just went to a small bakery nearby (the hotel is in the city centre). the hotel has its own part in the park house next to the hotel, but when we arrived that was already full.
When staying with 2 you have to pay for an extra pass if you want on wifi at the same time.
Room was clean, spacious and well equiped.
There is no free Wifi, which was advertised. Very loud bell ringing from nearby church at 5:00 AM every day.
Good price, comfy beds and clean, excellent breakfast (not included)
wifi was really poor quality. Staff were friendly but not particularly helpful.
There were extra costs for secure parking which was not mentioned in the initial ad. I booked a double room for a single person but the room was a single. The room was incredibly hot and not ventilated.
- Location is very good! :-) - Rooms are good enough - Hotel Garage is privately located!
- No Air Conditioning: hot in summer - Noisy due street & traffic - WiFi in Rooms not available; slow
Clean well maintained room Excellent breakfast Outstanding service
Third bed was somewhat uncomfortable. Could have had a better explanation of how the parking worked
The Hotel is just off the main road through Hockenheim near to a church with a clock that chimes every 15minutes during the day from 6 in the morning until 10 o’clock at night. Good location for the Race Track but only found one place open for a meal at night. (A theatre restaurant near to the hotel) The hotel has underground parking for its guests in a secure area, which is accessed via a roller shutter gate controlled by the hotel staff.
Finding a place to eat at night.
1. The huge 3rd floor room/suite (#409) (and equally huge bathroom) that we were allocated following a booking request for twin beds; 2. The town centre location is convenient for the local shops cafes & restaurants; 3. Apart from the issues opposite, all our simple and straightforward needs were well met at a very good rate.
1. The room fridge was nowhere near cold on maximum, and thus useless; 2. The church bells at 6am closeby were a bit of an earlier-than-expected alarm call, especially with the windows open - no airconditioning - in early August to keep the room cool, the building generally was very warm - followed by a similar 7am toll which was itelf then followed by a test/practice session of over 300 loud chimes!; 3. The wifi system - T-mobile subcontract of some kind - was awkward to use, single user logon only, and generally a hassle to work with; 4. The overnight parking charge of E6.50, especially when there is free parking on the street all around from 6pm to 8am, and even during the day it is only E0.25 per hour.
It was good for us, as we were close to relatives.
The WiFi was very bad.
Comfy room, breakfast good
The church bells ring just outside window every quarter hour from 06.00 and very loudly for 10 minutes at 07.00 every morning. No restaurant, mostly fast food in nearby town centre which smells of drains all down main shopping and cafe street
Location in regards to Racing track was excellent. Convenient parking. Room was a good size .
Bed for 3rd person was broken.
Good location, good breakfas.
CityHall bells wake you up 6AM and keep beating every 15 minutes. Only one computer can connected to WiFi.
Good for one night stay and secure parking
VERY HELPFUL STAFF
The hotel staff was excellent, very helpful. The hotel was clean, just a bit old or used, but ok. I would use it again.
The hotel has the look like it is a bit a old or used.
The third bed provided was very small and uncomfortable.
Poor staffing levels - one person covering both bar and reception and they couldn't cope with the demand at both areas simultaneously. No ice available for drinks at the bar for the three nights of residence. Beer taps were causing difficulty with some staff competently trained and others could not work out how to rectify the issue.
