Small room

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The location was perfect to walk to Trier city center and the train station (without luggage).

The staff seemed annoyed by questions. There was a glitch at booking.com when I booked my rooms online that resluted in double booking. In the end I was only charged for the 2 rooms that I booked although in the beginning the staff at the pentahotel were very insistant that I must pay for 4 rooms instead of the 2 that I booked. I placed a request with the front desk for a taxi for 4 adults one lap child plus luggage. The desk clerk said that I would need 2 taxi's although she only ordered one which left half of my party waiting for about 30 minutes and resulted in missing our train.

Breakfast was excellent.

The rooms need an update. They were clean but very old.

Wifi expensive and complicated. Only offered Cloud connection at high price. We expect this to be free, even in a cheap hotel in 2011.

An excellent hotel well located in Trier city centre and within walking distance of all the sites. It had good secure facilities but at a price (9€ per day). We managed to obtain a good special summer rate which made our stay good value for money.

The bathrooms were a bit dated and dull in terms of style (1970's style green bathroom suite and tiling in a hotel built in 1995). Breakfast was noisy as there was building going on in the hotel grounds.

Everything, it was stunning; one of the very best hotels I have ever stayed in. A definite 10! The breakfast was truly magnificent. Excellent convenient location and easy parking (even under cover for our motorcycles). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Having said that, I think, for some reason, we got a very good rate deal, as I have since looked at a return visit and the rate is much more expensive.

Great location, nestled in just a short walk away the city centre, Roman ruins and Moselle. Very quiet and comfortable.

Not much not to like. Only criticism would have been the lack of a fridge in a room and the bed wasn't great.

we booked a King room, but the room we got was certainly not that one! It was a very small old room and the staff was not willing to change the room!

the situation of the hotel was excellent, very clean . with good size rooms.

the only complaint was that breakfast was 15 euros when just round the corner there were dozens of cafes with prices less than half of that.

Sauberkeit im Badbereich; Dusche in der Wanne mit Vorhängen wirklich nicht mehr zeitgemäß; ein Grund, dieses Hotel nicht mehr zu buchen!!

Das Badezimmer war veraltet; das Design im Lobby-Bereich war schon sehr "speziell".
