I like the area, I've been here before and will go back.
I like the area, I've been here before and will go back. I like going to the Rhine, and sitting there looking at the ships going up and down.
I'm going to be trying to go back in December so I can visit the Christmas markets, Ramstein is a good place to start trips to places like Saarbrucken and Heidelberg.

My only real complaint was the weather.
My only real complaint was the weather. Most of the time I was here, 3rd week of May, it was cloudy and rainier and colder than I expected.
The people are friendly and it was easy to get around by train from Ramstein Village.
I've been here many times before, and want to come back.

I went to the Ramstein area to do Christmas shopping and do some exploring. I like the area and have been there before and want to go back.
I went by train from Ramstein to the Rhine River at St Goar and did some shopping, crossed the Rhine on the ferry to St Goarhausen where I had an excellent meal at a restaurant that overlooks the Rhine and all its varied traffic.
I rode the train to Saarbrucken to go to the Christmas Market and had a good time.
Getting around by train is pretty easy, but make sure you can read enough German to understand train schedules and changes to time, platforms and tracks.
The weather during my visit was cold, cloudy and rainy, but that is typical weather for Germany in the winter and early spring.

Stay away from the SHELL GAS STATIOM next to hotel Atlantis.
Stay away from the SHELL GAS STATIOM next to hotel Atlantis. The night staff was very rude and disrespectful! It was what I hated most about the area. K-Town shopping mall and Hotel Atlantis were what I loved!

It was an inexpensive place to stay (I see the prices have gone up since we stayed there) for one night while we waited for our flight at Ramstein Air Base. The room was clean and basic. The room was large with a king-sized bed and a large bathroom. Our room and the entire facility was quiet. It is a five minute walk to the train platform in Ramstein and about a 25 minute walk to the west gate at the Ramstein Air Base (or a 10 euro taxi ride to the air terminal).
This place offers excellent value and has everything you need for a safe, comfortable stay. The room is very clean, beds are nice, and the bathroom is large. The hotel is a little unorthodox in a mixed-use building (mostly medical practices) but don’t let that put you off. This is a very solid option in the Ramstein area. The staff are great and make self-check in very clear.
I like the location of the hotel. You can easily walk the town and get to the bus station or train. There is parking and dinner on site. It feels like staying in a home. It has a great covered patio that was very cool. The rooms are big with a fridge, microwave and air conditioning. Windows open for fresh air. Everything is clean. Coming and going is easy with door code.
Location is excellent. Near to Ramstein Air Base, the town, Shell garage, McD's, Burger king. Loads of parking and close to the Motorway.
Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent AND the scrambled egg is perfect. (Normally hotels make slimey eggs, but here they were perfect at this hotel!)
Kind staff in reception, cozy restaurant with rich breakfast, coffee whole day. No problem with car parking. The room wasn't small. There are a public swimming pool nearby. The place of the hotel is easy reachable from autobahns.
The location of the hotel is great. You are within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. The breakfast was decent, with many different things to choose from. Coffee was good!
Breakfast was simple, yet excellent. I asked for a small refrigerator in my room which was quickly resolved. Staff was attentive and quickly answered any questions I had. Would stay again without any reservations.
+ cleaning (done daily)
+ very close to Airbase
+ modern, interactive tablet and very good WiFi
+ good firm mattress
+ spatious free parking in front of the hotel
+ vanilla granola yoghurt and breakfast room
Location was perfect, very close to Ramstein Air Base. The front desk staff was very helpful, allowing us to store our luggage until our next hotel was available. I would be happy to stay here again.
The location is close to Ramstein AFB. The hotel has interconnecting rooms so we had space for the entire family. Breakfast is lovely. There are relatively effective little A/C units for each room.
We really enjoyed this hotel which went beyond the basics by providing a refrigerator and microwave as well as a dining area. It was spotlessly clean and everything looked new.
