The owner Oliver and his wife are delightful. They cater to your every whim. They even remembered it was my birthday and brought us champagne. This is an outstanding hotel. The food is amazing with items on the menu dating back to the 1700's that are truly gormet. Do not miss this hotel, within walking distance to the spas and to towm, you never need your car. Also be sure to inquire for on of the parking passes if you have a car, great deal to park. Also don't miss the wine bar it is a cellar treat. Our mattress on this last stay was not to comfortable. |

The location of the hotel was excellent and the included breakfast was wonderful. We were given a beautiful room but our travelling companions were very disappointed with the room they were given at first. Luckily the hotel had one reasonable room left that they could switch our friends to. The hotel did not have an elevator making it difficult with heavy luggage. |

Friendly, personal and welcoming. Also a great place to stay whether you are alone or with friends and family. Fantastic location in the centre of everything yet quiet as very few cars go past. The owners are lovely. The wine cellar is great. |

Staff were so friendly and helpful... room was recently updated, clean, and pleasant. Steps from the Friedrichsbad, location couldn't be more convenient. Restaurant was very nice, they use old traditional recipes they recently found during a basement renovation. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. |

The room was wonderful, the terrace was lovely, the resturant food was excellent and the service friendly and attentive; it was a wonderful stay and we plan to return! Highly recommend I would have preferred four pillows on the double bed. |

Fantastic!! The room was beautiful and very clean. The front desk staff were friendly and gave great recommendations for sights in the area. I had dinner at the restuarant and thoroughly enjoyed my traditional regional food. Christof in the wine cellar was a gem and knew his wines well. As a solo traveller I felt right at home. Thankyou!! |

Location in the heart of old Baden. Staff very helpful. Very good restaurant and an excellent wine bar in the cellar. The hotel is for early risers if the room is overlooking the small cobbled street as traffic noise is intrusive. Limited parking facilities on site. Parking is 200m away when full. No elevator/lift which may be a problem for elderly people. |

Perfect location, great room, good service, English speaking staff, great breakfast. The hotel is located in the middle of the city, just on the Rathaus in a pedestrian zone, walking distance to everywhere. The room was spacious, with a veranda, complimentry bottle of water. Free internet, coffee and tea at the loby, books, dvd - all free to use and return. I would rate it a 4 star hotel for sure! The elevator was too small so I could not go up with the baby stroller. Wwould add a curtain in the bathroom. |

The location was great, the staff were very friendly, the food was also very good. I would definitely stay there again. It felt more like a bed and breakfast than it did a hotel. The parking was very reasonable and accessable. The hotel sits just a short walk away from all the spas and shops. Staying here made for the perfect spa weekend. The owner made us feel very welcome. I wish there would have been more pillows on the bed. The one I had was small and flattened out when I laid on it. The mattress was comfortable but I had a hard time sleeping with the pillow. |

This hotel was a real surprise and a very welcome one after a long drive from Calais. The owner was thoroughly sharming and made us feel at home instantly. He couldn't be helpful enough and made an excellent recommendation for dinner - and what to avoid! The room was clean and comfortable and the roof terrace a lovely place to relax. The breakfast was also very satisfactory. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind being woken up every 15 minutes by the local church bell. |

I thought this was one of the most amazing places I have stayed in Europe. This hotel had history. It was small but so very professional and classy as well. The staff were extremely approachable and friendly to make you feel like you were at home but also in a 5 star hotel. The location is the best for walking to almost anything you would want to see within the Baden Baden history. The hotel offered a rooftop terrace with bar service as well as an amazing wine bar that had actual Roman architecture incorporated into the room. The included breakfast buffet was extensive and very tasty. Dinner was high quality and very good. The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. This place is an amazing value for all that is received. |

Very nice and romantic hotel, so close both to the ancient and fascinating Friedrichsbad thermal building and to the downtown. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast, as well as the restaurant, are very good. The room was fine and clean. The room was a bit small and the sink showed clear traces of break, not too good for a four stars hotel. More than one thin cushion should be welcome for the bed. |

Oscar and Zoya run this family business with love and care to each customer. The 17 century building was renovated in 2009 with great taste and designer's touch. Beautifully furnished room, great location in the old town of Baden-Baden, first class restaurant made our stay pleasant and remembered. As many European hotels this one does not have central air but even in the hot days it was pretty comfortable night sleep. |

The rooms have been recently remodeled with hardwood floors and beautiful furnishings. They have a rooftop wine bar for guests of the hotel, as well as a wonderful restaurant. The husband and wife who own the hotel were helpful, they even let us do laundry (for a small fee). Great location, close to shopping and area attractions. The room next to the registration desk sits right at street level, it was a little noisy at night. |
