Not that it really bothered us, but it seemed like this hotel is more aimed at elderly couples as clientele. The art and whole set-up of the hotel isn't aimed at a younger age group, but like I said, that didn't bother us as the facilities and location were sublime.
Just a few minutes drive from the ferry, where you can hike to the amazing Bastei!! Yes, it's a ways out from Dresden itself, but the drive is fine and it is worth being out of the city if you like to stay on the edge of a quiet, sleepy town.
The breakfasts were very good; coffee brought to the table and the buffet room laid with fruits, yogurts, cereals, sliced meats and cheeses, buns, cooked eggs and bacon.....just great!
And they also have a very nice sauna in the basement which is clean and very pleasant.
