the hotel was nice and comfortable the food and beer was amazing, the staff were brilliant even though my german isnt that great yet and the area down the left hand side of the street had some nice restaurants and taxi's were down there too

it was too far out of the town to just walk there and down the right hand side it was a little intimidating as there was graffiti and buildings that were falling apart and also i have been charged for the hotel twice but before i make my complaint im going to make sure first but all in all it was a fantastic hotel and a great holiday

Staff was incredibly friendly, room was clean, breakfast was delicious as they had a wide range of food.

The front desk staff is friendly, though in obvious embarrassment to the constant disruptions..

Restaurant close at 20.30! No restaurants close to the hotel, some of the staff don't understand english, the double rooms have not space for the baggages, the area around the hotel (it's not in the center of the city) is seedy and dirty. It's NOT a 4 stars quality.

The free Wifi service was unavailable in my room. The curtains were a bit thin and let light from the street in. The central heating worked well but one radiator was housed and I couldn't turn it off so got a little warm in the night. The check out time was in fact 11a.m and not 12pm as advertised on booking.com. However, the staff were happy to extend my check out at no extra charge.

The staff were very helpful. Hotel bar prices were reasonable. Easy to get from the Hotel into the City Centre by tram.

Sunday morning breakfast was very busy and people were having to queue to get into the dining room.

Don't expect it as a 4-star hotel. It might be in the 80s or 90s, but 2-stars beat it nowadays such as ibis or B&B. Our first room sounded an alarm out of no reason. I got to the receptionist and he didn't hesitate to offer us another room. We had to take the transfer, which meant time-consuming packing and unpacking. I was not pissed off, just didn't have a pleasant stay in a "4-star" hotel.

I have stayed here before and consider it good value-for-money if you don't mind being in a rather run-down inner-city area. The hotel itself is very smart and comfortable.

The fact that parking within the hotel's courtyard has now to be booked in advance at a fee of Euro8 per night. This was not made clear on the website and as a result on our first night I had to park in the street, which I don't like. The need to pre-reserve should be made clear on the website.

The hotel parking space is very small & it was occupied, hotel schould take resevations for parking, on the streets is also only few parking places - main street is very narrow with trams which are riding very fast, the neighbourhood of hotel looks strange

They did not have hot water in the shower. The tram is to loud and its difficult to sleep.

The hotel was really good although is not a 4*, probably it was when it opened, now is more like a 2/3*. The interior are very updated, the old radio doesn't work, the shower was dripping down water and the pipe has blown up while I was having a shower, no coffee/tea facilities...all things that you will expect from a 4*. Said that, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is absolutely amazing, great selection of food, very clean and only 15 mins by tram to the center/train station, the bar is open till late. I definitely recommend it!!!

Hotel cleaning staff was friendly, breakfast was quite ok, but not on the 4 star hotel level!

My second part stay I have the same parking problems and very unfriendly reception staff so solve their parking problem. They even change money for my reserved parking slot that was occupied with other guests cars! Unbelievable! Not to mention again wi-fi was not working ...

Excellent staff in the restaurant and at the reception – friendly and attentive! Good value for money. Unlike in most of the Leipzig people/staff actually smile : ))

Location of the hotel is not ideal for business people that need to be in the down town; yet tram connectivity is very good.

A bit hard to find.

Very nice, tidy room, fully equipped. Helping staff. Tasty buffet breakfast.

Nice and cosy family room. Clean and comfortable and plenty of room for 4 person.

First of all the restaurant was closed, which was very sad as we arrived late and hungry in the evening. The area around the hotel was very old - yet quiet - but not very nice/beautiful. Despite of that we recommend the family room, if you're only going to stay there for a single night.

The hotel was cute, comfortabke and cosy.

Noisier than first visit. Trams and traffic seemed to persist all night.

The hotel is quite cheap and the location was really good. The free breakfast was also fantastic.

My only complain was that I couldn't access wifi in my room. I had to come down to the reception area to use the Internet. This was an absolute let down.
