Regent

The location directly across from Munich's main train station was very convenient for getting around the city. Breakfast buffet included with the room rate was a great convenience.

No air conditioning, the room was very uncomfortable during the summer. Since the windows had to be open, noise from the street and train station prevented getting a good night's sleep.

We liked the locality as it was very near the main Railway station. We found it was near the drop off of our rental car also. The room was a good size for Europe. Very nice hotel but advertised a bar and restaurant. Unfortunately they were not opened until the evening. It was a hot day and it would have been nice to have a drink when we arrived.

They do not have airconditioning in the rooms so in the summer it is far too hot. We could not open the windows because it is directly opposite the railway station and the street noise was very loud.

Location for my visit

Was on 7th (top)floor, roomtemperature 45 degrees C and no airco, fan or something like that. Opening the window will present you the Central Station train concert. Good luck during this summer, never again for me!

Room not so big, but clean and nice. Very good location - 3 minutes by walk from Hauptbahnhof and 5 minutes from main shopping streets. And don't forget to ask for internet access password on reception - it's for free.

I would have preferred if there was an air-condition in the room

Location near train station was very convenient for arriving from another city in Germany and going home from the airport the next day. Also only a short walk to the Marienplatz. The breakfast included was very good. Free internet for wireless in the rooms was a nice plus.

The hotel's service for printing boarding passes was to do so if sent by email to the hotel. This never works for me to get the information into a form to email from the airline web site. Other hotels have a printer located with the business center computer so this could be done directly. I like that better and it would be something to consider for the Hotel Regent.

The hotel is well-located near the main train station. Staff were helpful. The rooms are spacious and the price was very reasonable. Apart from some traffic noise, my room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a positive experience.

Handy location. Suitable for short stay if price right. My friend snores like a train. I had to get another room it was so bad and the staff were very helpful arranging this at 2am.

Rooms only functional. Not comfortable or stylish. A bit dated.

Windows could be improved, it's a bit noisy. The Internet was down at some point and wasn't fixed before we left (2 days).
