Score from 425 reviews Excellent
Excellent location, price, and staff.
The room, the view, the staff, the restaurant, can't complain about a thing.
I didn't like the fact that we didn't plan a longer stay.
Right on the corner of the main tourisy street, less than a minute walk from the town marketplace. Excellent!
There is a good restaurant inside the hotel. Also, rooms and hotel itself is in very nice atmosphere. I like it!
There is many green in the garden. Therefore some bee and insect came into my room.
Location, amusing lady ?owner Marion, value, old place ambience
Poor wi-fi connection
Has an elevator!
The old town atmosphere was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was excellent as was the staff
the newer structure in the building opposite the old hotel seems like apartments for rent. There is no feeling of being in a downtown hotel at all. The lady doing our check-in asked only questions about parking in their garage and if you want breakfast. No explanation or promotion of any additional services offered, or dinner in their restaurant. This could be due to limited English spoken.
Staff, cleanliness, restaurant, ambience, parking, and location, location, location.
The second room, on the third floor, was a bit noisy.
Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt
Das Parken war nicht so gut
Superbly located, fabulous staff, gorgeous room, wonderful food, marvelous beer garden terrace.
Wonderful location with character. Beautiful terrace overlooking the cathedral with lovely food and at reasonable prices. Rooms were furnished with period furnishings to match the hotel, they were very clean, and had personality! The car park was around 250 meters from the hotel, a concierge had to escort us to unlock the gates, however we found the gates fully open the next day and removed our vehicle without having to inform the hotel, which defeated the idea of a secure car park. However overall a great hotel, loads of character in a wonderful setting
the bed was very ornate and characterful however very creaky and loud, so we kept waking up in the night!
Everything, from our room to the restaurant and close to St Jacobs church - right next door. ..and one block to time square!
Loved the location. The room was nice. Restaurant foos was excellent!
The staff was not friendly. Service in restaurant was poor.
Loved the location, the quaint feel, the assistance finding a parking spot, taking luggage to the rooms, storing our luggage while we explored town before leaving.
We visited the restaurant, and found the wait staff to be quite inattentive, and even somewhat rude to us. We were there with our five well-behaved children (youngest aged 8), and felt that families were unwelcome. The food was good. The service was not. We left feeling quite unhappy.
Great location, very comfortable rooms, large breakfast choice.
Price charged differed from price quoted for breakfast. Parking was undercover, which was great, but double the price quoted. No previous mention that undercover parking was extra.
Right in the middle of town and having a great terrace to drink and eat and watch the town walk by.
Wifi in the room is not free. In the lobby it is free, and that's why the lobby is sometimes so packed that wifi simply stops working completely.
I had Thanksgiving dinner here in 1958 and have returned many times since with my wife Peggy. Nice family still running the hotel, good local flavor, nice food and drink.
Restaurant is excellent hotel right in middle of old town. Good welcome on arrival
No free wifi in bedroom only downstairs
The town & the friendly staff
Location, nice classic rooms, the surroundings
Personable guide to parking car.
Front desk staff
The location is excellent. The food is good.
The place is a bit expensive The place could have better service. The people could learn to smile... Service with a smile is what people usually look for especially ina service industry
