Loved the location and room in the main hotel. The nicest room we stayed in on our 5 city tour.
The restaurant value was not great, in our opinion. The staff didn't mention the amenities of the spa and once realized, it was unavailable due to limited hours.
Quite room, lift, great food and very helpful staff.
Wow, Rothenburg has always been on my bucket list and I wanted a special place for us to stay the night. This Inn did not disappoint! It was so charming and authentic from the reception area, to the wonderfully cozy room. Loved the quaint windows with the great view into the town. Breakfast was loaded with all kinds of choices. Walk around the corner and take the Night Watchman Tour. Very entertaining, as well as enlightening! Got up early and walked the wall before the sleepy town woke up.
Parking. was a little inconvenient, but what can you expect? Just remember to unload everything you need before you park it in the garage 100 meters away, you don't want to bother the attendant to walk back & unlock it for you.
The hotel was very warm and inviting. The staff was pleasant, always available and accommodating. The food and service in the dining room was outstanding! Our room was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was the best! I would recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon!
Location. The city is a true pearl. Lots of tourists during the October fair but friendly athmosphere.
The parking was in a garage where cars were clustered in a way that you had to hand over the carkeys to enable the management to rearrange if someone were leaving before you.
Room was clean
We checked in around 1:30pm (English was not spoken at reception) and were sent to our rooms but to our surprise the rooms were still being cleaned and the cleaner was very rude and with all of us as if it was our fault that we were let into the rooms.
No Wifi signal
Lovely, very cute hotel in the heart of a fabulous, preserved mediaeval town, with all facilities that one would expect for the price. Great restaurant, excellent breakfast.
Not cheap, but the the cost reflects the facilities.
Location, Location, Location--This is a beautiful & historical hotel located in the center of one of our favorite medieval towns in all of Europe.
location, service, rooms
The hotel is situated behind St Jacobs church and 1 block from the town square. It is ideally situated and close to everything! The hotel was elegant and comfortable and the staff pleasnt and friendly. We travelled with a small dog who was also greeted and treated well. We will definitely visit again in the future.
The only downside was because we booked online, we were not guaranteed the free parking. We had to park in a public parking lot that was not too far from the hotel. We also could not access the advertised Wi-fi the entire time of our stay. I wanted to post our trip on Facebook and this definitely prevented that.
The hotel is located in the old part of the city, inside the walls. It is close enough from the Train Station to walk. We were located in their other building which is just across the street and around a corner from the main building. The room was a good size. Wifi was included which was very helpful for us. We really enjoyed the town; walking the city wall, going on the Night Watchmen walk, etc.
It would be nice if breakfast was included.
Location was great in the center of old town and the family staff was very helpfull
a pleasant place to stay in walking distance to almost anything of importance.
to leave a bottle of water and expecting guest to pay for it seems quite petty.
Easy to get to from train station. Centrally located. Great on site Wine Keller. Excellent breakfast. Charming accommodations.
We loved the location, and the city is unbelievably charming. The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing. There was another couple seated next to us that had come back repeatedly for their dinners.
The hotel checkout didn't open until 7:30 AM, this was horrible for us because we had travel arrangements and needed to leave at 5:00, but we couldn't. The car was locked in the hotel garage until 7:00am. Other than that we loved everything.
very congenial staff...helpful and pleasant...patiently accommodating. Nice, spacious room with good restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 2 nights.
Everything was within walking distance of the hotel. The restaurant was good for dinner but breakfast is not impressive. Parking was available (extra charge), if you had reservation. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the building across the road. Check in/out was very slow and uncomfortable. We had to stand in front of a tiny window (like a cashiers window) for a long time. We were told not to book through booking.com if we wanted to get the rooms in the nice, historic building. The tone of the lady owner of the place was dismissive, when a small problem occurred.
This was our second time in the hotel. The first time we stayed in the main building, which is a period building beautifully furbished. The second time we stayed in the annex, which is much more modern. Both parts were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, very generous. We also loved the beer garden restaurant, which served superb food!
Location, especially for people with mobility issues. Charming hotel and wine garden.
Excellent location, price, and staff.
The room, the view, the staff, the restaurant, can't complain about a thing.
I didn't like the fact that we didn't plan a longer stay.
Right on the corner of the main tourisy street, less than a minute walk from the town marketplace. Excellent!
There is a good restaurant inside the hotel. Also, rooms and hotel itself is in very nice atmosphere. I like it!
There is many green in the garden. Therefore some bee and insect came into my room.
