Very helpful and friendly staff. Big rooms and a great breakfast (12Euros each). Good location to the Zugspitze.

A bit of a maze to negotiate to find the room, although worth it when we arrived.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was good and the skiing was excellent.

The staff were really attentive, and the main restaurant is not to be missed. The food is really good. The hotel is an old Bavarian Lodge and has very well maintained historical features but it also has very modern aspects.

Traditional beautiful old ski lodge wonderful food service and nothing was too much trouble!

Everything was fabulous - the customer service was out of this world! The beds were comfortable and I wish we'd only had more time to enjoy the easy access to the downtown shopping and the spa at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious!

The staff was lovely and helpful, and the location superb-the mountains only minutes away, and everything in the town within easy walking distance. The facilities at the hotel were excellent, the room spacious and spotless, and very homey and comfortable.

Rather tired and borderline on amenities for a five star. Charging for wlan seems Cheeky "on top". Sauna and spa only opens from 15.00h... we would have liked earlier access on a cold, wet day.

Wellness-Abteilung viel zu klein, Wenn das Hotel voll ist, 65 Zimmer, dann sind 4 Ruheliegen einfach zu wenig.

The location was ideal as it was just in the middle of Garmisch and Partenkischen. The staff were very friendly and helped us with the best locations and deals. The hotel is 5 stars but not looking like so in the rooms but that was ok as we only slept in it. The breakfast was very nice but many items were missing and you had to ask the staff to replenish always. Parking was ok as we were lucky and found a free parking on the side road for 3 days.

The rooms are not so nice for a 5 star hotel and the decor is old and worn out. They promise free wi-fi in the lobby on the booking website but in the hotel there is no free wi-fi in the lobby and its a paid service with t-mobile so this is not ideal for a 5 star hotel and its not expensive to provide wi-fi access these days.

Not much to criticize - only minor issue is lack of toilettries in room. 5* places should have at least a comb, razor, and toothbrush.

The highest levels of personal service from all staff in an extremely comfrotable environment. Easy access from the train station. Relaxed an informal atmosphere.

We got a suite and had 3x rooms + very large balcony. Staff is very friendly Between 3-5 PM you get a local cake served in the bar

The hotel needs renovation! Paint on windows peels off, the bathroom is from the 70*s Breakfast is absolutely not 5*****

The food was great at this hotel. They upgraded us to a suite when we got there which was great after the 6 1/2 hour train ride from Berlin. It was 3 blocks from the train station so we walked. We could walk to the shopping area which wasn't far from the hotel. If I ever went back to Germany and Garmish, I would stay there again.

Everything! The first:the picture is a great lay ! Staff are not friendly, water in swimming pool is cool, room is dirty! I get to little shampoo, wash gel etc.... ! Beware! On the restaurant I get false bil ! These is hotel two- stars !!!
