Facilities and staff. Very pleasant stay on all counts

I would say this is one the best service from staff I have ever had at a hotel and we do a lot of travelling. We had a room overlooking the lake, we were not originally given this however was not a problem to be changed. Room is over a busy road so if light sleeper may be a problem. however windows shut out most noise. It could be a little warm in the middle of summer. also about a 15 min walk to down town

This hotel is close enough to the city center while boasting its great view of the lake Alster. Just a few minutes' walk will take you to a street (Lange Reihe) which is full of restaurants and bars. Although the hotel building and interior are fairly old, the room my family stayed was large and comfortable. It seems they were offering a special discount due to the low business season and the exterior renovation on the lake side.

Parking was rather difficult. Especially the tief garage (parking in B1) was small and the slope leading to it was narrow. I could find a place in the backstreet (Koppel str.) which was free of charge, instead.

The breakfast

Room was a bit small and I think you only get a good room at the front of the hotel if you pay a higher premium. So I think the rooms at the back should be a priced a bit lower.

The good choice for the short business trip.

as it was our first trip to germany i met nice,friendly and helpfull hotel staff. i would recomend this hotel to any british person.The food was excellent in your resturant. Keep up your good work

It would be better is all references and evidence of the former (Bellvue) hotel were removed.

it was very comfortable stay, clean rooms and quiet everywhere. Fantastic breakfest and fast service.

Un poco lejos del centro ciudad,le falta jimnasio.

Vi havde 2 dejlige store værelser med god plads til at invitere de øvrige rejsefæller til en enkelt lille genstand i den rødstribbede sofa.

Frühstück war gut, könnte aber eine größere Auswahl sein.Service, Mitarbeiter top.Tolle Lage, man ist in wenigen Minuten voll in der City. Für Städtereisende ideal.

Wenig Lichtquellen in den Zimmern, viel zu kleine Betten. Könnte moderner eingerichtet sein. Innenhof war nicht ansprechend. Wenn man nicht im Haupthaus ein Zimmer hatte, mußte man über den Hof zum Frühstück ... gehen. Auch bei Regen! Fand ich nicht so toll.

Mit hat gefallen: Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die Promptheit, mit der kleine Fragen beantwortet wurden.

Mit hat weniger gefallen: die Kleinheit des Zimmers, das Design finde ich schrecklich, das Sparlicht finde ich furchtbar (aber wir werden uns daran gewöhnen müssen), und die Härte der Matratze
