We were not informed that one should make a reservation to the restaurant although we asked about dinner possibilities, types of restaurant and food at the hotel. We then had to go out which was agaist our plans. |

The location, excellent for exploring the city. The positioning to the main attractions was excellent. Parking and breakfast were very expensive. Having to ask for in-room facilities to actually be in the room. Only being allowed to use sauna if you were prepared to go naked, and spa opening times. Very expensive for what we got - would not rate this as 5 star, have stayed in far better 3 star hotels elsewhere. |

The hotel is very good, with goods restaurants around. Great bed. Just to be a Renascence, I hare expecting something more. The room and the bathroom could be a little bigger. |

Good location, nice rooms, swimming pool and sauna. Expensive breakfest (nothing special) and car-park, there is no safe deposit in the rooms, the staff can't help you if you have any problems, be careful and check the invoice it's can be a lot of things which you didin't order. |

Ideal location in the city but a very quiet & dark room to make sleep easy. Very friendly staff on reception. Great breakfast buffet.And extra long beds a plus. The parking was very expensive so we found an alternative at half the price a short walk away. |

nice beds, room was quite small and and bathroom quite outdated. no safety box, tv not flat screen, no welcome drink (water), no koffiemachines. quite old hotel. well, worth the price coz was cheap. |

It is in the center of the city and everything is in walking distance. It should provide free WiFi access and charge the breakfast less amount of money. 24 euros is too much per day. |

A very comfortable hotel with swimming pool close to the shopping street and central railway station and historic city. The buffet breakfast was a little pricey if it has to be paid twice. We had equally nourishung breakfasts down town. |

Excellent, spacious room and the location of the hotel are ideal for shopping in Cologne. The only down is that the Parking rate at the hotel is 25 Euro per day whereas the rate in the car park right across the street is 12.50 Euro per day. |

It has been my second accomodation in Renaissance Köln and I always feel myself comfortable. It is close to the city center, 10 minutes walk to Dom, rooms are clean, tidy, staff ,s adequately experienced. Moreover, value for money is quite satisfactory. |

the decor was very nice, the breakfast had a very good selection,.only disappointment was that the spa was not working at all ie you could not swim or take steam which we were all looking forward to. 10/15 min walk from the cathederal, which was relatively near. a positive was that breakfast was served daily untill 11 am. i think that the spa looked possibly better on the net. however i guess when we were there the spa was being serviced so possibly it did not look quite the same as it normally would, apart from this it was a nice hotel. it is the first time i have booked with booking.com and will try and use this again. thank you. |

Good location at 15 minute walk to the Dom and old town. All the staff were very friendly and hospitality minded. Breakfast was nice. No safe box at my room. Smell of paint at the elevator. |

Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Good and inexpensive breakfast. Nice bathroom appliances. Pity that the pool and sauna area had broken down - guests were offered to use the one of the Marriott Hotel but a price reduction might have been more fair. |

Convenient location for shopping although further from the Cathedral than we first thought. Staff very helpful. We expected to have tea/coffee facilities in the room as it was supposed to be a deluxe room but it was not provided. The pool, sauna was not working that weekend which was disappointing as this is why we chose this hotel. In the hotels favour they did give us a discount because of this. |

Nice big beds and lovely airy rooms. The swimming pool was closed due to technical problems which we only found out about when we checked in. Considering a hotel with an indoor pool had been the reason for our selection, this was a disappointment. |

Attentive, helpful staff who switched easily between speaking German and English as the situation demanded. The hotel is within 15 minutes walk of the cathedral and main railway station. There is also an underground station less than 1 minutes walk away. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. With the club room package,which cost just 1 euro more than just breakfast, we received in addition to breakfast a daily newspaper, fresh fruit, free non alcoholic drinks from the minibar and in the evening snacks in the club lounge and a free movie on the pay TV. |

Well positioned for the shopping areas of Koln, this is a fine, well managed hotel with very good, attentive staff. A pleasant comfortable room, and good buffet breakfast. Were were very impressed with all aspects of the hotel. We cannot criticise the hotel |
