Score from 176 reviews Excellent
Good was great. View was amazing
We weren't allowed to bowl, it was reserved. That is part of the reason that we chose the hotel. They offered us nothing for apologies etc.
Great breakfast and nice place. It is a bit far from City, but it is a excellent palce if you drive to there.
no warm breakfast
Everything! It was excellent value for money, good location, very comfortable large rooms, most with balconies! Excellant restaurant too. Parking and wifi free! Good breakfast choice. The staff very helpful.
We had a spacious room where 4 ppl sleep and another smaller one for 2ppl and a sweet balcony. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was superyummy. The view is beautiful. It was great :)
Everything from the room, the staff, the bedding, the TV, the FOOD the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff.
Nice big room with an awesome view and a balcony to enjoy it
Hard to find, due to construction in the area
Place was picturesque
Limited Wi Fi
The room was rather big and was cleanef on daily basis. Breakfast was good and the . Location is great in the heart of the black forest close to the highway staff was bery kind
The room was a bit smelly the shower small and old and the stream at the shower was problametic.
The room was large with a balcony, if the bathroom was a little small. There was a terrace and a very pleasant dining room. The staff were friendly and accommodating, although they do not speak English. The food was delicious, well priced and quite remarkable.
The situation was ideal for us as we were passing through. I would stay in the hotel for longer, although the town is a little ordinary. I would definitely, stay there on transit again.
Visitor card is a nice benefit for local attractions.
No air conditioning and we had some really hot nights.
We were in a room with two single beds and a double which suited the three of us. This was a constant problem during the tour but not here. The parking for the bikes was ok, hotel car park but in a quietish area. Very good restaurant, nice beer, and a great range of food for breakfast.
There was not much to do in Oberkirch on a Saturday, the place seemed closed, but we needed a rest after about 2500 miles. Getting to the hotel was difficult due to a new road scheme which the satnav couldn't cope with. Eventually spotted some small signs in the town and all was well.
Very nice hotel in the black forest. We only stayed for one night but everything was great. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great.
Spacious room with a sitting area and a balcony, nice view to the surrounding hills, copious and tasty breakfast, good restaurant.
The view from the balcony was splendid as was the breakfast buffet. The facility was immaculate.
The staff that spoke some English could have been more friendly. They did not ask us if we needed anything or if we were happy with our room & accommodations. They did not offer any assistance at all during our 3 night stay. It would have been so much more enjoyable and helpful if they would have interacted with us.
Family room was spacious, there was a nice balcony. It was about an hour away from Triberg which was our primary focus for Black Forest activities.
There were hairs in the shower and many bugs in the bathroom. We went down to the restaurant to get drinks and dessert. We had to wait a while to order and then once we got our food felt very ignored. We had empty glasses and would have liked another glass of wine- the waiter never came around and seemed to only be interested in the locals. We waited and waited then finally gave up and had to find the waiter to ask for the bill. This definitely put a damper on our whole experience. The kids wanted to bowl, we asked the front desk about it and they told us where it was located- we went to find it and there was no one there to help us with it. After the experience in the restaurant we didn't feel like waiting around to find out if anyone would ever come to set it up for us. For this same reason we chose not to eat breakfast there the next morning.
Food in restaurant was excellent. Staff very friendly.
No air con in the rooms. Could get hot in the summer.
Great location, excellent restaurant for dinner, copious breakfast.
Reception staff effort and polite but not particularly friendly.
surrounding village, personnel, prices
no refrigerator in the room
Nothing not to like
The restaurant was excelelnt German food. I loved that it was easy to get into the Black forest for hiking, and also to visit some beautiful small towns. However, one could also be in Strasbourg easily and quickly, and it is a beautiful small city in France.
The staff does not speak much English, but they tried and did manage to accomodate all my requests.
Location and friendly staff as well as excellent cuisine .
The rooms are big, clean and very well designed.
The breakfast could be better.
We like the view from our room. You can see one of the ruin castles of Germany.
The room is having a smell like an old house.
