Comfortable bed. Reasonable breakfast. I reserved a parking space on booking.com - the hotel apparently just ignores this and hands out spaces on first-come/first served basis - I had to park on the street. The only (irritating) response I received was "well, you save €6"!! The equipment in the kitchenette did not work. By 20.00 all staff had left the "hotel", so they sent a nurse from the home (I am not joking) to test the fuses... ridiculous! Clearly run by amateurs trying to earn some extra cash from empty nursing home rooms...

Though it's part of a senior apartment complex, the location and size of rooms can't be beat. The breakfast selection was great. Even though our stay coincided with the Altstadt Festival, we didn't hear any noise at night. More a reflection on us - struggled a few times to get into our room using the electronic key fobs. The hotel receptionist was great and very patient with us as he demonstrated their use a few times.

Superb location in the city - unbelievably quiet in spite of the central spot. Very friendly staff going out of their way for you. Extremely clean. Spacious room. The guest computer needs some software updates.

There are lots of lovely touches with complimentary toiletries, masses of fluffy towels. Good choice for breakfast, which was fresh and healthy. On site parking was extremely convenient, especially as Residenz Schwiecheldthaus is right in the centre of Goslar, just off the main square, in an area where parking would be an issue. The main square is 2 minutes walk away, perfect location to be close to the restaurants and shops. Very good value, similar accommodation in the UK would have been twice the price. I didn't realise when booking that part of the complex is a retirement home, which felt was a bit odd when we first arrived. This doesn't really matter, the standards are extremely high throughout, especially the service, and the apartments are in such a good location.

Ett fantastiskt hotell med utmärkt läge! Otroligt fräscht och smakfullt. Stora, ljusa bekväma rum, fin innergård. Bra frukost i vacker restaurang. Lyckliga de "seniorer" som får bo här jämt.

Surpris au premier abord, car l'accueil se trouve dans une maison de retraite! Mais une aile de l'autre côté de la rue est dédiée à l'hôtel, ouf!!! Et là, chambre cosy, hyper propre, silencieuse, super salle de bain spacieuse et moderne, terrasse, le tout au pied du centre ville de Goslar, et sans oublier l'espace spa très moderne et très bien entretenu! Un régal! Seul bémol, wifi payant dans la chambre et le petit déjeuner un peu trop simple à notre gout.

Het is een super hotel! Alles is goed verzorgd, heerlijk ontbijt. Gratis gebruik gemaakt van de sauna en sportfaciliteiten, dat was echt geweldig!

excellent ausgestattete Zimmer und sehr freundliches Personal sowie ein gutes Frühstück. Leider sind Sauna und Fitnessraum in einem anderen Haus und somit besonders zu kälterer Jahreszeit nicht so angenehm zu erreichen.

Schönes neues Appartement, sehr sauber; die Betten mit elektrisch einstellbaren Rösten; ein großes behindertengerechtes Bad; das Hotel absolut zentral mitten in der Stadt (ca. 3 Minuten vom Marktplatz/Rathaus entfernt), aber dennoch ruhiges Zimmer; tolles Frühstücksbuffet (mit allem, was man morgens so essen möchte); Parkplatz (vorab gebucht) gleich hinter dem neuen Gästehaus; sehr freundliches Personal. Absolute Super-Wahl für ein Stadt-Hotel.

Meine Anmerkungen beziehen sich auf ein Appartement im neu renovierten Nebengbäude. Das war wirklich ganz ausgezeichnet. Offensichtlich sind andere A.auch familiengeeignet, denn zeitgleich waren auch Familien mit Kindern dort.

Изумительный отель для отдыха всей семьей или переночевать по делу: в этом отеле останавливается много пожилых людей, а напротив, насколько я понял, они и вовсе живут. Но это никак не мешает, а наоборот способствует тишине. У меня было номер на четвертом этаже (под крышей) с двумя кроватями, диваном и полноценной кухней. Запах в ванной изумительный, все принадлежности, куча полотенец. Отличнейший вид из окна (ну и сам город Гослар хорош), добротные материалы отделки и роскошная библиотека с дубовым полом на втором этаже. Завтрак стандартный, без изысков :) Отель обещает парковку, на самом деле парковка у них что-то вроде на пять мест и предлагают парковаться на общественной, которая после 20:00 уже железно занята. Я приехал в 19 и успел занять место. Вечером были проблемы с вай-фаем (утром заработал) и почти всю ночь звонит колокол на местной колокоьне :) если закрыть окно -- почти ничего не слышно!

De uitstekende ligging van het hotel was zeker en vast een pluspunt. De kamer was comfortabel en ruim. Heeft een hondvriendelijk imago. Misschien iets minder geschikt voor een citytrip, maar aan te raden voor langere verblijven. Het personeel had iets behulpzamer kunnen zijn. We kwamen na een zeer lange reis aan rond 3u 's nachts en hadden onze auto op de parking voor het hotel gezet, maar de dag erna hadden we een boete. Alles was ondergesneeuwd, dus hadden we de borden niet gezien en de receptioniste heeft ons ook niet niet gewaarschuwd. Het schoonmaken van onze kamer was ook niet tot in de puntjes (vuile handdoeken werden niet vervangen en koffie/thee niet aangevuld).

Zentrale Lage, nagelneue Appartments mit Küche, Couch und Eßtisch, sehr geräumig. Parkplätze ab 18:00 Uhr kostenfrei direkt vor der Tür.

Ein nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. Ein schönes modern ausgestattetes Zimmer, allerdings im Nebenhaus gegenüber dem Haupthaus. Da ich ein ruhiges Zimmer haben wollte, bekam ich im Nebenhaus, welches noch mitten in den Umbau- und Rennovierungsarbeiten steckte, ein Zimmer. Ich kam mir ein bisschen wie auf einer Baustelle vor. Das Zimmer war hellhörig und es müssen noch einige Nacharbeiten geleistet werden. z.B. Bad stand nach dem Duschen unter Wasser. Es fehlte mir auch der Hinweis, dass es eine Kopplung mit einer Seniorenresidenz war
