We stayed at several charming hotels in Bavaria during the Christmas holidays but this was our favorite. Passau is a pretty little town on three rivers and the hotel is right on the river looking up to a castle/wall. The decor is very pretty - a mix of modern and traditional - and they have special touches in the room (fresh fruit, teddy bear soap!). The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is very good and we felt well-looked after. A local pub had delicious beer, brats and zanderfilet. We found Passau smaller but more charming than Regensburg (1 hour away) which was also nice but a tad too commercial for us. We especially enjoyed the organ concert at the main church in Passau. We also loved the hotel's funny little dog. |

The Hotel Residenz Passau is very pretty and very charming. The location is ideal. There's a lovely view of the Danube, but it's an easy walk from the hotel to the beautiful cathedral in Passau. I would return in a heartbeat. While we were lucky to get a parking space, we had one little mishap with our car. Parking space is at a premium in Europe, and the parking garages can be very tight spaces. This hotel garage is no exception. Watch the stone wall as you pull in, to avoid scratches. Better yet, have someone get out of the car and guide you. |

The Hotel was very welcoming and the staff made us feel at home straight away. The breakfasts were really good with plenty of choice and the location by the river yet close to the town centre was excellent. No, but tea making facilities in the room would have been appreciated. |

This is a terrific hotel. My wife and I just enjoyed Passau and this terrific hotel for a long weekend away and found it very romantic. Everything is so well done inside the hotel - very welcoming, very cozy, very inviting. We had a super time together - made very easy by this quality environment. |

Удобное месторасположение - на берегу Дуная, рядом с основными достопримечательностями. Приветливый стафф - ни слова не зная по-русски, решили все возникшие вопросы ( по парковке и размещению). Отличный завтрак ! Озвучить в адресе отеля НОМЕР ДОМА! имеет смысл добавить в номер чайник. И как-то улучшить доступ в Интернет - даже со стационарного компа ни разу не удалось нормально без сбоев выйти в сеть. |

Da wir das zweite Adventwochenende im Hotel verbracht haben, waren wir angenehm ob der adventlichen Atmosphäre sehr überrascht.Das Haus war wunderschön dekoriert und hat zu der Stimmung sehr gut beigetragen.Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch sehr abwechslungsreich allerdings sollte der aufgeschnittene Käse und die Wurst geschützder angeboten werden. |
