The Flockerzie family has proudly owned the Barbarassahof hotel and restaurant for almost 140 years. The hotel, on the outskirts of Kaiserslautern, has its own charm. It offers all the modern amenities yet is still incredibly relaxing, making you feel at home. Our expert staff can help you plan virtually any festivity, keeping your memories last a lifetime. Do you plan a conference or a private party and you are looking for a suitable place for your event? We are the right place to come. Our hotel staff will arrange meetings up to 120 persons. We are a competent and experienced partner starting from the plannig to the execution.

Our guests have the advantage to use our a fitness-center without any extra-costs. Sauna and solarium are also available.

Food & beverage

Let us care about your stomach. Our kitchen will spoil you with highest quality. We offer you Palatian specialities as well as international menus on our copious menu. Enjoy the summer in our beer garden.

Our restaurant has a capacity for more than 300 guests in several saloons. The restaurant is open the whole year from 6:30 a.m. until at least 12:00 p.m. Warm meals will be served from 10:30 a.m. until 23:00 p.m.

This hotel was the best we stayed at during our stay in Germany. Granite tile floors and walls and the food was great.

The location, the staff, being able to bring our dog with.

The room was furnished with old U.S. Military furniture that was probably sold at a Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO) auction. The U.S. Air Force property lables were still inside the drawers.

the hotel was very well run, clean, well built, convienant to the two main freeways and the in house resturant was delicious.

Due to vehicle breakdown in Austria we were delayed for 24 hours but the hotel were happy to change our booking when I phoned them at 4:30pm on 21 August. Also when we finally arrived on 22 August, they were happy to provide hot meals in the restaurant even though it was only 15 minutes before it was due to close. I don't think an English 3 star hotel would have treated us so well.

The only problem was being woken at 5:30am by a large transport jet landing at the nearby US airbase! However, there is not much the hotel can do about that!
