Excellent location right in centre of cockham for shops and restaurants. Owners really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast second to none with extensive choice. Secure private parking available at small extra cost. Would definitely stay there again!

Wifi which was at no extra cost was hard to connect. Nothing else to add that we didn't like.

Staff, room and service were amazing! The suite was especially worthy.

Had a very difficult time finding. The street address is NOT a street; it is a walkway. With a car you go in circles. Cumbersome!

The staff was extremely helpful, very nice and generous. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The bathroom was very clean and the towels were very comfy. I like the location of the hotel. Some people might not like to walk up the stairs but I found it pleasent to walk the stairs.

The bed was too soft for me, the pillows were not as comfortable. The wifi wasn't working as well and got cut off a couple times. The wifi might be better at the lobby.

We enjoyed our room it was specious and suited us fine. The hotel is very centrally located. We had dinner at their own restaurant and that was great. Lovely couple that owns it, made us laugh a lot!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Hotel Lohspeicher recently. Lovely room in a good location. We were disappointed that we were unable to eat in the restaurant due to the fact that it was not open on the two evenings we were there as we understood it is a great place to dine. However we did enjoy the lovely breakfasts.

The location in the old center can't be beat. The cheery staff. The amaaazing restaurant. The fun and interesting room.

The location is awkward if you are car-dependant, ie you have to park elsewhere and pack in with your luggage since the "strassen" are actually walkways too narrow for cars. seems a tetch pricey for the grade of hotel but then it is a popular tourist destination.

Beautiful location overlooking the town, waking up to the curch bells was wonderful. The staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating to our every need and made sure we had a beautiful weekend.

slightly tricky to find when coming off the back road.

Most enjoyable. The 'Happy Hour' dinner on Tuesday evenings was outstanding. The chef is excellent. Breakfast was superb. Lovely location in the centre of the old town off the market square Very picturesque, close to Moselle

Not very easy to access ... narrow streets and steps. no good if have any disabilities, although hotel itself has lift. Parking a distance away but secure.

We loved the meals, the staff, and the owner. There was an excellent ambience.

We didn't realise that there were 20 stone steps to the front door which made things a little more difficult than anticipated.

Good central location just off the market place. The lovely touch of a personal welcome message and home made chocolates in the bedroom was a nice touch.

Nothing really, good value for money. Some rooms have a castle view, sadly ours didn't but I would ask for now another time.

We stayed at the Lohspeicher for our second night in Germany and dinner there was one of our highlights of our trip. Ingo, the owner and chef, was fabulous and treated us like royalty. His dinner menus were exquisite and I can honestly say I have never eaten food this good! it was an incredible dining experience. Breakfast was included in the room price. We had lovely room a view of the castle from our window. The staff was friendly, helpful, and went all out to help make us happy. The room was very comfortable and well decorated with little handmade yummy treats each day left on the bureau. They even left us a note about weekend driving restrictions in the town. Cochem is a charming treasure with a small village square just outside the hotel, cobble stone streets and alleys with shopping, restaurants, bars, and just a short walk to the Mosel River. The Reichburg castle overlooks the town and the river is very nice.

The light was out in the elevator which made too dark to use. Parking was a little walk away but that is to be expected considering the location in the center of town.

Great staff, so friendly and helpful. Wonderful location and excellent value for the price. Quiet!! Breakfast was huge, one of the best we have had in Germany. The owner of this hotel is a gormet chef and the dinner was a real treat.

The location was nice. The restaurant was truly excellent.

Although the staff is nice, the room is kind of basic. the sound isolation was very poor. for that price, I guess you can get better hotels but not better restaurants.

I liked seeing the owner-chef training students in the kitchen on Sunday. I actually liked the familial quality of the staff to each other. Small town. Everyone knows everyone else and is used to maintaining their local connections while visitors come and go. We walked up to the castle. That was great.

It was out first night in Germany coming from the Bay area in California. Very hard to find the front door of this hotel. They were short of money and wanted us to spend more. They sold us bottled water for 12.00 US that I could buy at the store for about 2.00. I didn't mind paying. The walk with the luggage to and from the car was brutal: up and down a fairly steep, cobbled slope. They offered help, but they didn't mean it. We had to make 2 trips the last time we moved our luggage, and they were afraid we would skip. The location is awkward, and in the US there is a business saying: location, location meaning location is everything.

    Locaties ecellent

Room was so very basic we couldn't sit down to relax or play a game. We asked for another room and the girl would ask the owner. Nowone came back to us with an answer. The cooking smells are all over the place 24 hours a day. No coffee and tea making facilities, no fridge etc. We decided to take coffee and tea in the bar, we had to pay 8,- euro's!!!!!! For one coffee and one tea. It is a totally overrated hotel. Restaurant we didn't wont to try anymore because prices were shocking. Breakfast was fresh and good.
