Two things that I absolutely did not like, nor asked for, and affect me not staying at this hotel again:
1. I got a smoking room, although I am an absolute non-smoker. The room had a strange smell when I first entered, then I just realized the smell of smoke is simply in all the walls. There was an ashtray on the table, which is something I haven't seen the last 10 years. The reasons why I didn't say anything during my stay were, that I was working during all days, and was in the room only for sleeping, and I knew all other rooms were occupied, so I wouldn't have been transferred in a new room.
2. My room was tiny, on the fourth floor, the last one, without any elevator. I think that the entire forth floor is for smokers, which made things even more disgusting.
When I checked out, the receptionist did not even ask me whether my stay was nice. I suppose he knew the room I was staying in, so avoided complaints. Not a characteristic of professionalism though.
The only ok things were that it was clean enough and not extremely expensive.
