Hotel Rheinischer Hof    

I only stayed for one night, but the facilites were excellent, the room spacious, and the staff friendly and helpful. I dined at the hotel and had a very enjoyable meal. Had I stayed longer, I would have taken advantage of the onsite spa facility. Just a couple of minutes walk into the center of town, the location was fine. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

The younger male working the Registration desk very friendly and accomodating. Knows his English well. Breakfast superb. Beautiful Mountain Views! They are using Green Technology to heat and cool too!!

the staff where very helpful, allowing early check in, providing good local info, breakfast was very good, the spa area was fab after a day ski.

The rooms were excellent, comfortable, wide, light, esthetic! So also the social areas. The Wellness Center is excellent! The satff is friendly, efficient, ready to help in any circumstances! Excellent breakfast, good food too for evening meals, good prices. Very relaxing atmosphere.

location, far from skiing, shopping, shuttle bus would have been nice for pick up at train station or go into town for skiing and shopping

Good and educated staff, they're always helpfull. I liked the continenal breakfast.

Wonderfully large, newly added, top floor room with balcony overlooking the zugspitze, with large bathroom. Outstanding breakfast - excellent assortment of foods, with fresh-squeezed orange juice machine and machine that made a variety of coffees. The location was excellent - bus stopped right across the street. Hotel staff and owner were welcoming and helpful. Free parking was great. Enjoyed the pool.

Room was warm, but we understand that the weather was unseasonably hot. Couldn't get internet access in the room on our devices for some reason.

Staff was excellent. They took care of our needs and helped us plan several days in the area. On bus route into Garmish which made trips to town quick and easy

Wonderfully friendly staff. Excellent location for walking to Edelweiss Lodge (12 mins). Breakfest was traditional with eggs to order. I ate dinner one evening during my stay and the food was excellent.

OUTSTANDING ...Service, Property and Personnel! Andreas was pleasure to work with from our initial booking to our check out. This family owned hotel is Garmisch's BEST hotel! Very near the Edelweiss Resort. Restaurant was FANTASTIC. Breakfast was delicious ...pancakes, scrambled eggs...FRESH squeezed orange juice...large selection...this is NOT your typical European Breakfast. Had amazing dinner as well (definitely try the prawns) Rooms spotless! Traveled with 4 boys (10, 13, 15, 16) as well as in-laws. All 3 rooms were very relaxing ...loved the balcony. Free parking, free WIFI and mini-frig avaliable. Shopping is walking distance 15 minutes. Restaurant in hotel or more available on main street. Will definitely be back!

All the staff were so friendly, by the time I left they were like friends. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was very good, we did dine 3 times on an evening and it was excellent, all in all a lovely hotel, will definately be going back

Wonderful views of the mountains around Garmish and the unexpected surprise of "fire on the mountain". , Nice city/village center only a 10 minute walk from the hotet. Great breakfast, loved the juicer for oj and the coffee machine!! And Monica's ( front desk) who recommended Mount Zugspitz, what a tremendous view from top of Germany''s highest mountain peak - a definitely highlight of our vacation

The keyfob for the room is really too big/heavy - minor

Nice pleasant hotel

Our room was lovely, huge, more of a suite, which was much appreciated, a chance to spread out and relax. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom a good size. We also appreciated the bar fridge, where we could keep our bottled water cold. Breakfast was very good, a large selection. We did not have dinner at the restaurant, so cannot comment on that. Staff was extremely helpful with all questions, and we really couldn't have asked for a better stay. It was one of the best accommodations on our 3 week trip.

Location, price, breakfast

We were in a one bedroom unit, the shower had only fabric liner/wall, so water got all over the floor, there was no actual shower stall. After each person showered we had to mop the floor - not a good thing! Who wants to mop their hotel shower???????

A friendly waiter, John, from Scotland was very enjoyable. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed 3 suites in the Windrose Haus, across the street from the main building. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Because the main building was undergoing noisy roof repairs, two of the rooms were given nicer suites in Windrose Haus at no additional charge. The chef also moved his otorcycycle to make a parking place for us. An excellent and accommodating hotel! Also, don't miss a trip to the Local Cure, just a few steps away for a drink, great food and atmosphere!

I wasn't a big fan of the handicapped shower, which required us to squeegie our entire bathroom floor after use.

Nice hotel at walking distance from the city centre. Includes a restaurant if not in mood to go out. Relax with spa and massage and Love the cozy comfortable rooms!

Presently going on under exterior renovation may make noise at early hours (8am onwords)
