The view from the hotel across the Rhine and the city of Koblenz is superb. Our room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good and included in the price. |

The breakfast! It was plentiful and there was no rush to eat as quickly as possible. In the description, the hotel is only 10 minutes walk away from the city centre, but it was longer than this by car! You certainly wouldn't want to walk it after an evening out. |

Comfortable bedroom, well equipped, good size. Our 'comfort' room had excellent views of Koblenz and the river. Good food, reasonably priced; excellent breakfast. Quiet situation. Good value for money. Lighting in bathroom could be brighter. |

The hotel is situated on the opposite bank of the river quite high up and gave you a good view of the city. There is a bus stop about 300 yards away and the 27 bus runs 3 times an hour. ( it is a circlar route, a day group ticket is 8.20 euros and does 5 people). the food in the hotel was excellent quality and value, so much so that we decided to eat there in the evenings after our daily return from sightseeing. We found the staff very helpfull and friendly. |

Nice hotel with a great view of the city and Rhein. About a 3/4 hours walk to the city centre, with a big climb on the way home (hotel's location is on the side of a hill). |

A peaceful location overlooking the Rhine and Koblenz. Our room was spacious and well equipped with comfortable chairs. The room was airy, and had a splendid view over the city. The quality of the food in the restaurant surpassed anything we have encountered in our overnight stops. |

The view from the hotel was unrivaled. You could see the entire city below. The hotel is difficult to find and basically impossible to walk to. There should be a note associated with this booking to encourage train goers to take a taxi to the hotel. Also, it is a very long walk to the city sights, you'd also need to take the bus or car to get into the city center quickly. |

English spoken and v helpful staff (extra bedclothes, new lightbulb). Good price, includes extensive buffet breakfast. Best view of the city you could imagine; quiet location. About 30 TV channels in room, including one each in English & French. Fort Asterstein 10 mins walk away for history enthusiasts, as well as famous Fort Ehrenbreitstein further on. 20 mins by No 27 bus from the rly stn (get off at "Hotel Berghof") & then 5 min on foot, hence the attractive price. Bedroom walls slightly thin. Noise in the car park if there is a late-finishing event in the dining room on Fri/Sat night. Probably difficult to get a wheelchair into the dining room - phone to ask about disabled access. |
