Great hotel in a great location in a wonderful town on the Rhine. Unlike most hotels in the town there is car parking available to the rear of the hotel but it does cost €5 a day. Restaurant menu is basic but very well presented and cooked. Getting the bill at busy times can be seen as a struggle for some, so leave time for this and relax and watch the world go by! Breakfast is buffet style with plenty to choose from (eggs can be cooked to order). Hotel is kept very clean and tidy. But the trains can keep you awake at night so if this may bother you take some ear plugs or request a room at the rear of the hotel (although you will miss out on the wonderful view of the Rhine if you do!)
right next to the river, plenty of restaurants, and places to walk to within easy reach. Rooms modern and clean. If you're a light sleeper, make sure you request a room away from the railway track, as it's very close to the front of the hotel! Staff most helpful, when asked.
This hotel was very easily accessed from the railway station. our room had a balcony overlooking the RHine and was situated right in the heart of the beautiful RHine town of Rudesheim. The breakfasts and evening meals were superb.
nothing negative to report.
location is good
wifi is broken, and there is nobody can speak English. I sent e-mail to delay for check-in two days before arriving, but no one answer.
Very nice modern and clean hotel. Room very comfortable. Location is awesome with view of the Rhine right out the window ans very centrally located and just a few steps from the start of drosselgasse. Lovely cafe out front where u can look out upon the river and watch the world go by. The facilities for breakfast were great and nice food and service and very clean area.
The hotel is right along the Rhine with is also where the train tracks are. This is a very busy train route about every 15 mins or so....... Even at night. No wifi available at the hotel on our visit. Staff were very pleasant but not much English was spoken
Location good value
Cancellation of one nights accommodation many months after making the booking thru bookings.com resulting in us having to search for another hotel & pay much higher rates for this new booking due to lack of availability at such a late date
Good location, staff very hopeful: there was problem with booking via booking.com (special request didn't come through, although this seems to be fixed now).
Trains most of the night, didn't bother me too much unlike other members od the party. Limited parking. However all these things are the same for all hotels in the area.
- excellent breakfast - friendly staff - nice location and view - cozy room and balcony
- waterbottle in hotel room costs extra… - no internet
good location and excellent staff who were very helpful-had a room at the front and they did say about the trains going past but didnt bother me as slept very well but if you are a light sleeper get another room.
Great location, great breakfast, and great staff.
Large, newly re-modeled room with classy décor.
Modern style, fairly clean, nice bathrooms. Nice breakfast included. Nice location, quiet, private and peaceful.
No Wifi whatsoever? Mattresses are 3 inches thick, like hostel beds. A few bugs in the bathroom even though it was clean.
Everything. Indeed the hotel is being renovated but, I suppose, that this is the reason that it is more affordable comparing with the rest. The staff are vey very friendly. We asked for a room in the back and not in the front. Indeed there is a train passing by every hour but this is how it is for all hotels there. Back rooms are very quite. It was very clean and everything was just perfect (also the breakfast). I recommend this hotel and I am planning to book again.
Helpful staff. Central location with easy access to the boat cruises and cable car.
Frequent freight trains thundering along the track across the street. These made conversation in the eatery difficult. That said, we were not bothered by noise at night in our pleasant, refurbished room at the back of the hotel.
The staff could not have been any more helpful, very friendly place.
Good location. Check in was efficient and very helpful. Escorted to our room.
Parking is an issue. No internet, but they say it's coming. Night staff not quite as helpful as the day staff.
The Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful in planning our short stay. It is directly opposite the ferry terminal for the Rhine Cruises and centrally located for walks to town
Very friendly, helpful staff. Bedroom was basic but very comfortable. Room was fresh, inviting and pleasant Excellent choice at breakfast.
Limited car parking and no reply to confirm either that we had a car parking place or room at the back of the hotel which we had requested despite several emails asking for confirmation.
This is a very good place for the value. Very good experience
Everything is good enough.
A nice little hotel direct at Rein. The staffs are friendly the breakfast is nice. Hotel rooms just have got new renovation. We have got a room on 2nd floor with a balcony for Rein secenery. The hotel is worth for 3 stars more than 2 stars as mention in hotel profile :)
The room, which is on Rein side, is next to the rail way, which you could hear the transport-trains running through quite often. But after walking and drinking along Drosselgasse, the noise from train didn't disturb us anyway :P
