It was a very friendly and homely hotel. Each member of staff we encountered was very hospitable and provided excellent service. This is what we call 'traditional service' and it was much appreciated - they even gave my wife a gift of chocolates for her birthday! Additionally, the location is superb opposite the canal and the city gates. Excellent all round. |

Location is excellent, can easily walk to all Lubeck's attractions/points of interest. Arrangements for car parking are excellent & very easy although not on site. Extremely good value for money. Our room had a fabulous view of the Holstentor Gate, however it was a little noisy as on the streetside of the hotel. |

Location is excellent with a view of the magnificent city gates of Lubeck and, directly opposite the hotel, the beautiful old "salt warehouses" along the river. We ate in the hotel's restaurant, where our waitress was remarkably brusque, bordering on unpleasant. The next night we ate elsewhere! |

A nice hotel excellently situated in Lübeck inside the city walls and next to the canals. Also very close to shopping and dining, relaxing with some refreshments next to the canal. |

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. It was easy to get wherever we wanted by foot and the town was very cozy for a big town. It is an old hotel but very comfortable. |

A lovely old hotel right on the waterfront. From the front it overlooks the Holstentor which is just some 200 metres away; a fine view indeed. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We arrived very late and yet we were allowed able to park immediately outside the hotel. The hotel is a good base from which to explore the beautiful city of Lübeck. Views from the side rooms are certainly no match for those at the front! You only have to step outside the front door though to be right in pleasant streets with great views so this is not a problem. I would suggest asking for a room overlooking the waterfront if you want a romantic break though! |

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte. Das Hotel ist sehr alt (1306), aber unser Zimmer war sehr gut renoviert. Das Frühstück war mal ein ganz normales Frühstück, ohne Finessen, was aber nicht wirklich schlimm ist, man wurde ja trotzdem satt. Im Frühstücksraum war es allerdings sehr kühl und zugig (altes Gemäuer?) Wir waren aber zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. |

den gode beliggenhed,fin morgenmad,flot rengøring af værelset på grund af vejret var vi meget på værelset om aftenen, hvor vi så fjernsyn, men efter ca. 20 minuter skiftede fjernsynet til sort/hvid, og det var hver gang vi tændte for fjernsynet.det var meget irriterende. |

Perfekt läge, centralt, nära både till sevärdheter, affärer och kommunikationer. Lätt att åka buss 6 från flygplatsen till hållplats Hostentorplatz. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Bra bufféfrukost. Jättebra förstoringsspegel i badrummet ett extra plus! Vitvaror och kranar i badrummet borde förnyas. |
